"This hotel is beautiful. It has a wonderful location in Blowing Rock with plenty of parking and easy walks to shops and restaurants. The only issue is traffic noise and the town itself should work on controlling that. It's better to have a room in the back of the hotel. Otherwise, I enjoyed our stay at The Embers."

"Great location. Walking distance to everything in town including shops, restaurants, a small food market and coffee shops. Two story town home was nice with lots of living space. Liked balcony on 2nd floor. Our room was in the back of building which I recommend because of its quiet peaceful setting from the busyness of the street. Two bathrooms are a nice perk. Room was very clean. The landlord communicated well on the services available and expectations. They are also readily available online with any questions you have. Check out nearby Bass Lake Park for a beautiful 1 mile hike."

"The motel is clean and not too far from the downtown however we chose not to walk it due to busy road and rain. The room itself could use some side lamps next to the bed. Also they didn’t service our room during our two day stay. We tried to get fresh towels but office is manned only during certain hours. No very convenient. The motel is old school shower and shower head but water pressure was great."
