“Staff were very helpful prior to my checking in when I had trouble getting to the location and gave me tow truck information. They ensured I got to my destination instead of living out the rest of my days on the side of grandfather mountain. If I could give 10 stars I would.”

“The Inn was clean & cozy & we enjoyed our fireplace that would automatically turn on from the thermostat setting. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We walked to unique artsy shops & restaurants. We had a lovely time & plan to stay at the Inn next time too!”

“Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. We had to cover the window with a towel. To that effect, I will say that the outside area is very well lit and we felt secure. The grounds were a bit dirty. “The floor above us was very noisy. We had to ask the front desk for help with this two times. It sounded like running around, jumping, and banging things. It sounded like a stampede.”

“Stayed 3 nights. Nice little motel close to downtown blowing rock. Office was closed when we arrived so Staff called me prior to check in and left a key in the drop box. Room was clean. Mattress and pillows were a little to firm so I didn’t sleep well. Bathroom was clean, water pressure was great but the water was warm but not hot the entire time. The office was closed the entire time and the room was not cleaned daily or towels exchanged. Overall a good experience but probably would stay……

“We had a lovely time at the Cliff Dwellers Inn. Our room had an excellent view, it was clean and large and comfortable. We got a personalized note reminding us not to lock ourselves out on the balcony (thank goodness). We also arrived to a fresh bucket of ice set out for us. We were deeply grateful. Would highly recommend.”
