“We really loved the location of this property as it was right in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock and above a lovely restaurant with great breakfast! The house was clean and well stocked and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a luxury experience in the mountains.”

“Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Blowing Rock. We were in the area for a music festival and were so happy to retreat to The Blake after a long day of music. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved being right on Main Street with easy access to amazing restaurants, the playground for our kids and ice cream every night. We are already planning a return trip!”

“The house was great. Beautifully renovated kitchen with all the amenities (including a great frig with two diff ice). The best part was the large deck with an awesome sunrise view of distant mountain peaks there was plenty of room for our family at the college graduation. we especially enjoyed the pool table in the basement”

“We do a mom and daughter trip every April and this year we chose Blowing Rock! The home was the perfect house for us ~ spacious, comfortable, close to everything!!! Kitchen is well equipped! Loved all of the extra pillows and blankets around the house ~ made it so cozy! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in our pajamas every morning planning out our days! The stream along the back was wonderful! The hosts are quick to respond and full of kindness!!! Fantastic stay! Plan to book the same……

“You absolutely can’t go wrong staying at the Penthouse! What a fabulous location! Walk out the door and you’re on the sidewalk in the middle of everything!! We parked at the parking garage which is a short walk from the Penthouse. The Penthouse was clean and inviting. If you have issues with climbing stairs (28 of them) then it might not be ideal for some, but it was no bother for us. I would definitely stay again!”

“The place had everything we needed. Dog friendly with a great backyard. Enjoyed a cozy fire in the living room. Peaceful back deck with cozy chairs and a gentle creek for peaceful reading and relaxing. Easy walk to town. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Love The Artist Loft. The location is perfect. It’s an easy walk to all Blowing Rock has to offer. The loft is so pretty but it’s comfortable. The kitchen is big and has everything you need. The bedrooms are well done with nice linens. And the bathrooms have plenty of towels. I’ve stayed several times and it’s always a pleasure to work with Susan and Gaines Kiker.”

“This place was incredible. It is exactly where you want to be in Blowing Rock with restaurants, bars, and shops all around you. The restaurant downstairs is very nice and you don't hear noise from there at all. The furnishings are all very nice and upscale. Some of the nicest amenities I've had at a rental. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for friends and family trips.”

“Great location and property. The grounds are amazing and the house offers all that you need and more. Only one suggestion. The steps to the back yard from the driveway need to be filled in and not have deep pocket throughout walkway. Also the back steps out of the basement have algae build up and could use a good cleaning. We had two people slip and one fell. We are all ok and did not take away from our stay. A suggestion that may keep someone else safe in the future. Thank you for allowing us……

“The cottage was as described online, modern, nestled privately in the back of the property. Very neatly & simply decorated. The linens were on point ! The only issue we had was there was only 1 washcloth and a small partial roll of bathroom tissue paper. I manage several airbnbs so I pay attention to detail more so than some probably. The other thing I noticed was the baseboards could use a good dusting. For the most part, we enjoyed our one night stay and definitely would book again. Such a……

“Detailed and easy check-in and check-out procedures. Darling one bedroom/two bath apartment has a fabulous location in the heart of Blowing Rock. Loved the modern decor in historical building. The attention the owners gave to detail was remarkable from comfortable mattress and bedding, plenty of towels, fresh cookies and water, “clean” toiletries and soaps, and very clear directions for everything. We would love to stay again. It was wonderful. Well done, owners! Quick walk to shopping and……
