"Useof the spa"

"On the outside the property looks very beautiful, and set in open beautiful countryside which is a major bonus, However you step inside and you notice the place is very old tired building, rooms were nice enough but needing more attention to cleaning the rooms, as both of our rooms hadn't been cleaned properly, Everything creaks groans and moans, and the noise thru the walls and floor boards from other guests moving around the building can be heard everywhere, upstairs down stairs next door, The hotel it's self isn't too bad, they do the best with the situation their dealt with and the staff are very nice friendly professional and helpful, Breakfast was alright, had better breakfasts in travel lodges days b4 staying here, Overall Rooms were nice but the showers had ran out of hot water, so cold shower in the morning Food, was fine just small portions, Staff were excellent, rooms just needed an extra 10.mins and a final check as their was hairs an dirt an bugs all over the bathroom and window ledges Stairs cases were old wonky and creaky , they were ok for us but some of the other guests very elderly an struggling with the old stair wells, as their is no lifts in the property 5 1/2 out or 10"

"This hotel is ok, but the restaurant is appalling. Severe lack of staff and attention to diners, we watched two couples up and leave after being sat with no service for almost 45minutes. The food is vastly overpriced versus quality combined with the lack of staff attention, we were only offered a drinks order once and provided with one small jug of table water. Spa facilities are ok, sauna is tiny but ok, pool area is nice"

"Hotel is lovely and clean. The staff are very friendly. The only problem is you have to pay for the gym and Paul separately. I think it was £20 for two hours."

"A very pleasent stay. Clean & friendly stay. Good food, nice bar & very helpfull staff. Kim & Tom in the resaurant were great, Diane on reception was wonderful and helped my wife with out after the Ultra marathon left her needing an ice pack Manager? Steve was just so welcoming & helpful throughout our stay, advising on spots to watch the Marathon & nearby pubs & shops. Will stay again."

"There was much dust in the corner of the room. The bed sheets and duvet covers are dirty. I can see some black dot within. I felt itchy. But it has many parking space in the Car park . It is very convenient that food court is just besides."

"The staff were wonderful, and went above and beyond to correct an issue from booking a twin room, which wasn't suitable for 3 travellers. The swimming pool and breakfast were very nice, and soon accommodated my dietary restrictions. Thank you ! Was particularly amazed by the hotel manager, who really did everything he could to help make our stay comfortable. "

"Easy to find, great parking. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Needs more hooks in the bathroom and plug/charging points in thr main room. Continental breakfast was a bit sparse, although they did give me a poached egg. Staff were friendly."
