Access to Rich Mountain Majesty is via a paved road and affords dramatic views of mountains to both the east and west as you ascend to the property. The front door is only 5 feet and 4 steps from the driveway for easy access!

The first thing you might think when you step in the door is, “This is going to be a great trip!” – and you’d be right! This is a one-of-a-kind home. Amazing features abound in this lodge. The large foyer leads straight into the open great room, complete with a stone gas log fireplace and flat panel HDTV. Furnishings include luxury leather sofas and chairs, and there is plenty of it! This room is big enough to accommodate your entire group. Through the great room windows, you’ll see stunning close-range views of the Rich Mountain Wilderness and three peaks of over 4,000 feet. You can see the branches on the trees and the clouds and sun as weather dances around the mountains – incredible!

The open main level floor plan includes the master bedroom suite, great room, dining room, chef’s kitchen, butler’s pantry, and laundry – everything you need! The floors and walls are all finished with a high level of craftsmanship to match the lodge-sized space. Giant Canadian logs are combined with exotic wood flooring and fine plaster walls. The space is a perfect balance – grand and rustic feeling, but refined and tasteful.

Upstairs, you’ll find three more bedrooms. King Suite #2 features a private bath and a beautiful king bed with comfortable hotel-quality bedding. King Suite #3 is styled completely differently but also boasts a private bath and a real-log king bed. For remote workers, there is a large office area including a desk, chairs, printer, etc. If you need to work on vacation, you can do so in style! This area also includes a walk-out covered porch with rocking chairs and a grand antler chandelier to help frame a western mountain view – perfect for sunsets!

The lower level of the home is where it’s all about family and fun! This area includes a home gym, slate pool table, poker table, and foosball table. You’ll find plenty to keep you occupied inside Rich Mountain Vista!

Note about TVs: There are flat screen TVs in ALL bedrooms, including the office and game room.

Windows throughout the home feature amazing views of the outside. In fact, the views act as a constant reminder of the beautiful setting that you are in. When it’s time to step outside, you’ll find many opportunities to relax in style. Comfortable seating abounds on the large wrap-around decks on two levels of the lodge. Special features, including a gas grill, outdoor wood-burning fireplace, and swing, are all icing on the cake! The grounds are spacious and loaded with professional landscaping that focuses on native flora. Mountain laurel and rhododendron provide color in May and July each year. On the property, there is another swing and an outdoor fire pit, plus lots of great areas for kids to explore and hike. The neighborhood is well-kept and makes for easy walks on the paved ridgeline road or other paved roads that are more hilly and more challenging. There is something here for every fitness level.
