Amazing cabin in Blue Ridge!

The cabin was just perfect for our quick getaway with friends. We loved the amenities of the cabin! We also enjoyed the nearby hiking trails as well as exploring Blue Ridge. Thank you and we would love to come back!

Overall pleased with the property. Great Location for access to hiking trails and still close to town. Only negative was the road is in pretty bad shape.

New Year's Getaway

The cabin was perfect and met all of the needs of our group. Loved the downstairs playroom/tv/pool area! The views are amazing and our favorite part was side porch with fireplace!

Perfect getaway in Blue Ridge

I wanted to treat my family to a brief retreat. We chose this perfect cabin. This cabin is so cozy yet has a nice open feel. The outdoor fireplace is wonderful. Although we did not use it, the hot tub was so clean and warm. The jacuzzi tub is huge and amazing along with a nice shower. Fun cozy game room. Very nice firepit area with awesome views of the night sky. Beds are some of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, wish I'd taken the time to see what they were! Close to town and several attractions. I don't think you'd be disappointed in booking this rental.

Lovely home

The home was clean and comfortable. If you plan to cook, you may need to bring some casserole dishes - not much of a selection for a group that cooks a lot. You will need to order wood, none is supplied. Bringing your pet is very expensive.

Weekend getaway in the mountains

We live in Marietta, GA and were meeting with my sister and her family, who live in Tennessee. This was a perfect location to get together and spend some time. The place is ideal. It has all of the activities that one may want - from a wonderful large basement with a pool table, to an outdoors fire pit to a hot tub, and walking trails closeby.

Refreshing and Relaxing

Everything about this cabin was a 5-Star experience. The only bad thing about the cabin was having to leave! We enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck in the mornings and cooking on the grill in the afternoons. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything you see in the photos is accurate. Our group also enjoyed the pool table, reclining sofas, and screened in porch. I would definitely not hesitate to book this cabin in the future. It is convenient to downtown Blue Ridge as well.

Beautiful stay in Blue Ridge

My friends and I celebrated my 50th birthday by relaxing in Blue Ridge. We had a fantastic time at Above the Timberline! It was well-appointed and each couple had private space on each of the three floors. The screened porch was a fun place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. We only left the cabin to hike and make a quick visit to town. The best part of our trip was just cooking out and catching up. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very pleased

The cabin and location are beautiful. The road is a bit difficult to maneuver because it’s steep and gravel. We made sure to return to the cabin before dark. They need to pave the road for better traction. Many great amenities and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend this property but be careful on the drive up.

Lovely mountain adventure

We had a wonderful stay! Furnishings were great and beds very comfortable! Well stocked kitchen. Loved the view, hot tub and short drive to town. Driveway was a little rough up to the house but likley worsened by recent heavy rain. Great location, close to family hikes.

time change

had a lovely stay on the weekend when we had a time change. we ask to stay till 11instead of 10am to accommodate the time change we have to endure but staff was not very accommodating towards this issue. Most places would offer us to come an hour early on the Friday to make up for the hour lost. I felt management could have offered us something since we were loosing an hour.

Incredible Mountain Getaway

We stayed at Above the Timberline for 5 wonderful days. The property is so much more than described. Our family of six adults, all had King rooms with incredible views. During our stay in the middle of February, we used all of the fireplaces and the firepit. We arranged to have wood delivered by the rental company. The kitchen was completely stocked and even included a KitchenAid Mix Master. There are so many hiking trails close by. We even had snow the last day to add to the splendor of Above the Timberline!!!! We would definitely rent here again and again...

Family Get Away

We enjoyed a long weekend with family celebrating our parents 65th wedding anniversary. The house and views were beautiful! Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A griddle would be a great addition. The porches were one of our favorite parts of the house! Morning coffee in the rocking chairs was a lovely, peaceful start to our days. We saw many gorgeous moths during our stay! Rocking chairs on the lower porch level level would have been nice. We would also suggest adding towel/clothing hooks in the restrooms and providing more than one towel and washcloth per guest. Extra towels for the hot tub would also be nice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and many fun and lasting memories were made! I would recommend this property.

Great getaway

This cabin was amazing! No detail was overlooked. You don’t see workmanship like this very often. The cabin was beautifully built with a great layout. Four king suites, three fire places, a billiards table, retro arcade gaming table and more... We will definitely be back and hope to buy a cabin just like this one day!

Great cabin

This cabin has absolutely everything you can ask for. Beautiful view of the mountains. The only reason I did not give a five star is because there was dirty silverware in the skinny silverware drawer of the dishwasher and food in the fridge from previous visitors. Otherwise awesome cabin.

Lovely cabin in the mountains!

This place is fantastic. Surrounded by serene mountain trees with beautiful views, a true retreat away from the day to day. Beds are all VERY comfortable with high quality linens, and high-end appliances. The gravel road up to the cabin is STEEP, so bring a 4-wheel drive or be prepared to get some speed going to get over the hump. The place could have used a few more blankets to cuddle with the family while watching movies, but otherwise this place has everything you need! Smore's by the fire under the stars create lasting memories for the whole family!

Beautiful cabin...if you can get there

This is a very lovely cabin. Well appointed and comfortable. However, the gravel road is extremely steep and very challenging to navigate without a 4-wheel drive. We would have appreciated at least a heads up from the property manager. We had to take multiple attempts to get up the road when arriving at night with a vehicle loaded with food and items for the weekend.
