This place is amazing. I recommend them, do not hesitate to book at this location. The cabin is beautiful, the view, the location, I have nothing negative to say about this place.
Six of us thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day getaway to help celebrate a friend’s birthday. Between the amazing cabin with its view and accommodations to the proximity to Blue Ridge and wineries, we had an amazing time! I would definitely recommend this cabin!
Overall it was a very clean and somewhat newer cabin. It had everything we really needed and was prettywell stocked with the basics. We had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and there was enough towels and linen for our stay without having to do laundry. It was close to a lot of attractions in blue ridge and a grocery store. We did have to contact the property mgmt for more gas for the grill and when the jacuzzi got cloudy and discolored, but they responded very promptly to both. There was even a charging station for e-vehicles on the premises which was amazing for us because we didn’t have to go out of the way to recharge our car.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin.
Our time here was spectacular! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we will definitely be back. Every bedroom is on its own floor and each one with equally beautiful mountain views. Plenty of very high quality super comfortable chairs line the decks so everyone can just simply relax and take in the peaceful views. It very much exceeded our highest expectations. The driveway is steep but we had no issues at all maneuvering it with our SUVs. Hey, that’s just what it takes to get up a mountain for these beautiful views. 100% worth it! Every question I had was answered almost instantly and the reservation process was super easy. We are typically a “beach-going-bunch” but we added this as a (too-short) stop on our way home from the beach. …can’t deny how much we fell in love here with the beauty of the mountains as well. I could go on and on but you reading more of my rambling is just delaying you from making your reservation! The property is everything the owner says it is so click the button and get this place booked for your stay! You will not be sorry!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, spacious, provided everything we needed, and the views from every floor were stunning. We will absolutely be back next year!
Great place for a long weekend get away. Perfect for adult friends due to three bedrooms, all with King beds and separate baths. It would have been nice if each bath had its own hair dryer. Recommend this place. Would return for another stay.
The vest views we've had in the surrounding area! Absolutely beautiful, we had snow one of the days as well, seeing the snow on the mountains was beautiful to wake up to.
Very nice home and property managers was incredibly helpful and easy to work with!
Will absolutely stay with them in the future!
Wonderful trip but it was too short. So glad we came in our truck. The driveway had ruts and very bumpy we spun a little at the top. The cabin was amazing and had a great view.
Beautiful property, perfect for our group. The beds were comfortable, house had everything we needed and the view was INCREDIBLE. The layout of the house also is great for multiple couples who need privacy. I had read other reviews about how steep the driveway was but I did not feel it was that bad, even when it rained.
Finding the cabin was a bit tricky! We ended up getting there pretty late and driving in the dark was a bit difficult with the windy mountain roads. The driveway was very steep so it was a bit daunting. The cabin is very cozy with a bedroom on each of the three floors. The view was amazing and there was so much seating. We had a lot of fun and definitely recommend!
Accurately listed and well stocked. We had one issue that was quickly addressed. Great location and views. Glad we had 4WD for the steep, gravel drive. Loved the outdoor fireplace and TV for football. If I were to make one suggestion it is that there were only 2 chairs on the deck. As we were there with 2 other couples and the place sleeps 8, I'd suggest more chairs on deck or at least access to more chairs if needed. We all wanted to enjoy the beautiful views. Thank you for sharing your lovely place!
Great Cabin/Location Communication and Reponses Could be Better
Very nice cabin, clean great views!
Communication was with an answering service without always getting a timely response. We lost the internet on the 2nd night and could never get it restored despite calling. We are used to calling, texting, emailing and speaking directly to the owner or manager of the property and getting a very quick response to any problems.
Overall, we had a lovely stay. Three areas that need some TLC from management: For those who plan on cooking in, considering the cabin is capable of housing several people, it would be helpful to offer more dishes and serving ware. We found ourselves having to get creative with serving ware and needing to wash dishes a lot. Also, no wash cloths for bathing! Those would have been helpful to have. Lastly, yes it's a steep driveway that needs 4-wheel drive, and we could only get one car all the way up, and had to leave the other car parked elsewhere. Seems like evening out the top of the driveway with some extra gravel and grading would be a simple enough fix.
Loved the cabin would definitely stay there again. Just a few things to note about it. Floors were not very clean. Outside landscaping wasn’t maintained as there were tall weeds in the walkways. The driveway can be a little hard getting up without 4wd. The cabin next door couldn’t get his suv up it one night cause it had rained pretty hard and made pretty slick. There are other cabins close by so you do here all the noise from them. One cabin close by was being constructed and unfortunately we had to hear their music that they were playing all day long. That was the worse part but fortunately the cabin is almost done being built so it shouldn’t be a issue much longer. All these things wouldn’t stop me from renting it again cause overall it’s a very nice cabin with beautiful views.
It is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in in Blue Ridge.
I have rented many times on other sites, my 2nd time on VRBO.
This place is magical. You don't need to leave the cabin. Nor you want to.
The driveway is CHALLENGING. The wheels of our vehicle (mid size SUV) were spinning around in the uphill gravel driveway. I could personally not do it. I had to get off the car and walk all the way up. Every-single-time. It was scary!
Another downfall is the location. Is FAR from everything, so if you need to do grocery shopping, I suggest you do it before you get there. Or before it gets dark, you wont be able to find the place.
To enjoy the local attractions was a hassle just because of the distance and the driveway on the way back.
There is not enough signs to the "community", we got lost 4 times.
Would I stay there again? Definitely. Probably not in Winter time, when road is wet. And I will make sure I have a big truck and 3 other men with me.
But again, the cabin is stunning. If you don't mind staying there the whole time, this is the place to be.
The views are worth 1 Mil bucks!
A few small welcoming gestures would go a long way!
We did enjoy our time at the property but collectively we had many easy suggestions for improvement, such as: The driveway was very difficult to get up for a couple of our vehicles. You should warn those with sports cars in your welcome e-mail about the nature of the gravel driveway and provide an option to park at the bottom of the hill, if needed. All the toilet seats are loose and pinch! Ouch! You should consider providing a few sticks of firewood. The downstairs gas fireplace smells of gas when on. Might need to check that out as we go into the colder months. Switching the mini-fridge door swing in the basement is simple and would make a significant difference for ease of use. Would be so nice if you could provide starter coffee/filters. Could you include bath mats in the linens (i.e. towels, sheets) you provide? Was disappointed there were no tissues in the bathrooms. There are light bulbs out throughout the property (i.e. master fan light kit). Would be nice if you could provide a starter laundry pod or two. Thanks again for the follow up! Have a nice day!

Beautiful but....
I arrived by myself at the house Thursday evening shortly before 7:00 pm. I had some trouble getting in because the code that was given didn't work. I chatted the host and it was taken care of right away. Once I got in the house (approx 7pm), I noticed the smoke detector chirping. I chatted the person back immediately but got no response. I also tried calling. The house has a big open floor plan with vaulted ceiling so there weren’t too many places to get away from the sound. I did set up that night in the lowest level and tried to close all the doors so I couldn't hear the sound. Any place on the main and upper level echoed every time it chirped. I was able to get ahold of someone the next day at 9am. They said they would send someone to fix it, but I should just take the batteries out. I explained that it was probably 12-14 feet up on the wall and there would be no way I could reach it. While I was out that day, I thought they had sent someone out, but the following day, after my husband and I came home from dinner about 7pm, it was chirping again. I immediately messaged the host and explained the situation. The host suggested we just remove the batteries (again), and I again said the smoke detector was 12 -14 feet up the wall.
This whole process was ridiculous. The batteries should be changed on a regular schedule in the home so guests can actually USE the home. While the basement was great, I still had two other floors I had paid to enjoy.
