We enjoyed our stay at Colby's Cabin! We especially enjoyed the fireplaces and the fence around the property since it allowed my dog to explore and roam free. It was removed from traffic, good roads to / on property, and close to restaurants and grocery store. Thank you Colby for sharing your home with our pup!

Beautiful, Peaceful, and Pet paradise!

This our second visit to Colby's Cabin, and it was as beautiful as I remember. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, and my son's dog loves the freedom to roam the property. Since we live in separate states, the chance to relax with family was such a a treat. Colby's Cabin will remain a regular stop in the future.

Place was as expected and better. Private from other cabins, easy access, amazing interior with awesome decor. Totally fenced in backyard with flowing creek. 3 mins drive to beautiful easy hiking trail. This is our favorite new cabin!

Colby's Cabin was truly lovely. The management company communicated clearly, early, and often so the packing and check-in process was made easy. The cabin itself was gorgeous (we loved the bear accents), beds were very comfortable, etc. Check-out was also easy and minimal work required from us. The outdoor area is very serene and cozy. Trips to town are pretty quick, around 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

This adorable cottage was great! Quiet location close enough to town, fenced yard for the dogs, a stream onsite which dogs & kids loved. The adults appreciated the multiple fireplaces and the hot tub. We hiked the Aska falls loop trail with kids & dogs - less than a mile from the house. This place is the perfect cabin for warm weather - great outdoor living space. One heads up - the kitchen is very well appointed but very small. Limited counter space & no pantry presented a bit of a challenge cooking for 8 but we made it work. The staff at EBR is SUPER! I can't say enough about their responsiveness to our queries.

Stream on property NICE.

The cabin had 4 nice bedrooms with large beds and 3 nice bathrooms. Most of our time was spent on the great shaded porches and the fire pit/stream are. The owner even had firewood for the fire pit. The kids and adults really had fun in the stream. Was able to catch a couple of crawdads for the young ones. We did not bring a pet but the entire property was fenced to keep a dog in.

Everything was great at Colby's Cabin! Upon arrival we did find that one of the TVs had some damage and we called to report it and the management was very responsive and called me right back. The screened in porch with TV and fireplace was very relaxing. The kids and adults all had a good time.

The best dog friendly ever!!!

Our dogs had free run of the property (totally fenced in). The boys 6&10 loved the creek. The dogs did also. We played pool, watched the game on the tv in the screened porch. The hot tub was great also! Absolutely a favorite!!!

Beautiful Cabin

Colbys cabin is beautiful. The location and property are both perfect. The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five is because the fireplaces inside the house did not work. We are from South Florida and when the weather dropped to 21° we had a hard time trying to stay warm. It is a two level cabin therefore the bottom level stayed very cold without the use of the fire. Again, the cabin was beautiful and perfect we were just really looking forward to sitting by the fire.

Creek fun!

The house had plenty of comfortable bedrooms for us. The kitchen was a little small for our group but we made it work. We really enjoyed the large deck and ate all of our meals out there. Big table held our group. We spent alot of time in the creek with our Grandkids. They loved it! Our dogs loved the big yard to run around. Screened porch was nice but needs a good cleaning. I swepted it out and it was fine. Watched TV out there in the mornings. We had a great time. Would reccomend this property.

Mountain and stream

The cabin was very nice with plenty of room for our family and 2 dogs. The dogs enjoyed the stream too much, but there is a gate to close them off from the bottom of the yard which was nice. The top of the yard also had a small dog run which was good. The pool table was nice and the views were good. Its location is further from town then we usually stay, but its closer to trail heads which was nice. There is a nice 2mile loop about a mile from the cabin which was nice for a trail run.

Nature's perfect playground! The creek was the biggest hit between the dogs running around it and my grandson catching crawdads? in it!! We loved the creek babbling adding the perfect soundtrack to the smores and fire!! Even the dogs seemed sad to leave..

Wonderful cabin and location, June 2021

This was lovely cabin accurately described in listing and in pictures. We very much enjoyed the quiet, private setting. Cabin was large and clean. Location was about 7 miles from town, close to hiking trails, away from others, and surrounded by woods. Hot tub was wonderful addition and used often. Absolutely no bugs inside cabin. Management was responsive when we couldn't get grill to light. For the size of the cabin and people it usually accommodates (5 - 8), more cooking equipment would have been nice. For example, there was only one skillet, which made it difficult to cook for everyone at the same time--a large electric skillet for pancakes would have been ideal to have had. Really, the only minor issue was that master shower didn't drain very well. We would definitely book again.
