The view

This was our 4th year staying in the Mountains during this time of year. This cabin had the most amazing view of them all! I could sit on the porch all day. They had it decorated with Christmas decor and it was just a PERFECT getaway for the family. Enough room for everyone to read and have a great time. We will book again!

Beautiful house and location

We really enjoyed the house, excellent location and view. We found the dishes in the dishwasher dirty. On the first floor there was lot of dog hair. We suggest changing the baking trays to use the oven. And also change the pillows because they are yellow.

Family Trip

Our family of 12 had a great time in Blue Ridge the home is located high in the mountain with gorgeous views. The house is nice and has plenty of bedrooms, porches, outdoor seating and fire pits. The master bedroom does get quite warm (we ended up having to open the door to the balcony to let in fresh air) The mattress is very comfy, although slumps down on one side. The game room is a nice feature as well -our kids and grandkids loved playing pool as well as enjoying the hot tub. A very peaceful place to be to get away from the busyness of life.

Fun Family Reunion!

This house was perfect for our three-family vacation. The back decks were amazing for hanging out in the morning, eating dinner together and games in the evening. The basement had a pool table for the adults and video games for the kids. Twenty minutes into downtown Blue Ridge for lots of restaurants and activities. Highly recommended!

Amazing all around cabin

Two families over an extended weekend and in both rain and shine there is incredible space indoor and outdoor around the cabin to be with friends and family. Reasonably well stocked for cooking and very clean. Only one “watch out” are the bunk beds - the ladders aren’t secure so we unfortunately had a little one take a bad tumble. This aside, an amazing family getaway in a well located cabin.

Family weekend

We absolutely loved the view and the outdoor space! The kitchen cabinets were very unorganized and some pots and pans were very dirty. We had nine adults and one baby and we were very crowded when it came time to eating a meal… The table only sat 6 people and 3 at the bar, but it would be nice to all eat together and it was a very crowded space. There was only one thermostat for the whole house… Which left the main floor very warm in the basement very cold. We had a blast even though and made the best of it! I think this property is over-priced for how crowded it is in some spaces.

Family getaway

I was very impressed with the property (inside & out) & location. It had a beautiful view of the mountains. Inside and grounds were very clean. There was plenty of space for our family of 11 to comfortably enjoy each other and be by ourselves if necessary. We had no issues at all. We'd love to come back.

Pros - Views were amazing, rooms were spacious, hot tub was clean and kitchen had all the essentials. Cons- tons of mosquitos which made it hard to enjoy the deck without getting bitten all over. I wish they provided something for that. Kitchen and family room were quite small for a 5 bedroom cabin.

Our lights lodge stay

Overall almost everthing. There were only a couple things that needed improvement. The pots and pans provided need to be replaced. One pan was left in the dishwasher hadn't been cleaned and couldn't be due to whatever had been made in it wouldn't come out. Minimal dishes were provided, a surprise to us given the cost and location of the cabin. The kitchen was also not as clean as you would expect given the fact renter's pay a fee to have it cleaned. Overall it was a great experience.

Perfect for large groups!

Beautiful view and tons of outdoor seating areas to enjoy it from. It is a little closer to the neighbors than it appeared online, but there were plenty of trees in between. It had all of the tools we needed for the weekend, and we appreciated that there were a few toiletries. I would recommend bringing your own pillows and blankets if you like extras. There was plenty of parking and the cabin was easy to get to and not too far from the nearest town for last-minute supplies.

Don’t hesitate to book this. The pictures make it look like there isn’t much privacy, but there is plenty. You can’t see the neighbors. It’s awesome. Everyone in our group gave it a 10/10. This place is perfect.

Grand outdoor space!

This home has two full length decks that are wide and provide lots of flexibility and room for numerous people. While some were enjoying the stone fireplace on one deck, some enjoyed the porch swing on the other, while a few played a game farther down on the octagon shaped table. Still others were at the firepit on the ground. Breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake made this home the perfect place to relax. We hope to return!
