Outstanding views and comfortable home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Beautiful beams, floors, showers, and very comfortable accommodations. Full compliment of kitchen cookware, plenty of room to entertain family and the view was absolutely gorgeous! Loved it!

Beautiful Cabin with Wonderful Views

This cabin is amazing. It is beautifully furnished and well stocked. There is plenty of room in two separate areas to watch tv or play games. The kitchen is well stocked and had seating for at least 14 people between the dining area and kitchen island. There were plenty of bathrooms to accommodate our large family and sleeping space for all!

Peak Season in an A+ Cabin

We stayed here during peak fall season and couldn't have had a better stay. The porch was cozy, the interiors generous, and the view beautiful. We'd love to stay again in the future. We had two families and a friend stay and there was room for everyone.

Amazing home

Thank you for letting us stay at your incredible home. My 4 year old jumped in the hot tub at least twice a day, showered off with the waterfall shower. We went to the Bigfoot museum, hiking, picked blueberries. Overall a great time

Girls weekend

Our group of ladies enjoyed our weekend at this lovely rental. The cabin was lovely, spacious and unique. Communication was excellent. The owner thought of every detail! I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Cabin with great views

Our family was looking for a weekend mountain getaway and we hit the jack pot. This cabin was beautiful. The cabin was clean. The cabin had a wonderful view and amazing sunset. The driveway was steep and a little nerve racking the first time but all of the vehicles made it up and down just fine. The host was wonderful to work and responded quickly to all my questions and needs! Highly recommend.

This home is beautiful. Very spacious and well appointed. We had 12 people and there was plenty of room to spread out on the different levels. The deck was great, and had a beautiful view, the game room had so many options, and the hot tub was relaxing. We would stay in this home again. Because this home is truly on the side of a mountain (which provides amazing views), the last mile drive up is a very steep, one-lane (paved) road. Well worth it, though.

Slice of Heaven

Our family of four (i.e., two adults and two young adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home, but this house could easily and comfortably accommodate at least two families. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy separate areas for conversing, activities, and resting. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are so many nice touches (e.g., towel hooks, umbrellas, games) to make it comfortable. These extras make this house feel more like staying in a friend's home than a VRBO rental. The views are absolutely breath taking, and the windows ensure that you can appreciate the views throughout the house. Pictures really cannot do the view justice. Additionally, the property is clean, quiet, and peaceful, and the owner was communicative and welcoming. Please note that the drive to the property is quite steep, but we managed it in a Jeep Cherokee without four wheel drive. I would suggest arriving the first day before sunset to make the approach easier.Our family highly recommends this property if you are looking for a clean, quiet, and beautiful retreat for your vacation.

Perfect Family Retreat

Where to begin with our stay at the beautiful property in Blue Ridge? For one, the pictures and description don’t do this property justice. The house is simply awesome with tons of space for multi generations and stunning views all day. Black bears and deer seen several times from the comfort of large deck filled with very comfortable furniture. The downstairs family/game room was a huge hit playing ping pong and Super Mario brothers and Galaga on the big screen. Old school arcade games were awesome to introduce to my Nintendo switch loving kids. Fully stocked kitchen and grill were great for making big meals after full days hiking to swimming holes and waterfalls, river rafting and tubing. Hot tub was large and perfect for evening soaks. The fire pit was great for sitting around and eating way too many s’mores. Owner was excellent and always available. Had a small water issue one evening as the main well in the complex shut down and she resolved quickly by the next morning. Everyone in our group agreed that the beds were perfect and the bath tub in the master bath was out of this world. Sure mentioned before but the drive up the the house is quite steep and winding and can be very “interesting” when you meet a car on the narrow road. Come prepared for some excitement. We loved the area and will definitely be back to Blue Ridge and this stunning house.

A Mountain Beauty

Exceeded Expectations!

This property was perfect and exactly as described. Owner was so pleasant to book with and thoroughly prepared us for our visit. Our favorite spot was the beautiful balcony relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views. There is plenty of space for a large group to spread out. Tons of activities in the house for a crowd of all ages. The kitchen was very well equipped. Absolutely nothing negative about this house. We would definitely love to visit again!

Better than advertised!

Our family celebrated our parents’ 50th anniversary here and had an amazing time! The house was even better than described and in pictures. We were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful spaces and comfortable for a group. It had all we needed and then some but if you have an infant/small child you will need to bring a high chair and portable crib with you. Overall, very clean. There is lots to do at the cabin for all ages as well as in the local area. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife! We saw an armadillo, turtles, a snake (!!!) and several deer from the house! The road up was not too bad, but don’t drive up in the dark the first time up. Merrill and Laraine were very responsive hosts. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

The house was beautiful and well appointed with everything we would need. Kitchen was very well stocked, including a full spice rack. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Game room is pretty stocked and the TVs have a ton of options. The guide book created by the owners is fantastic, they have thought of everything. The only thing we would have liked to see is a pack n play (we brought our own). The drive up and down as a lot of fun, but would be tricky in the rain or snow even with 4WD. It is straight up. We were able to get 2 trucks and a car in the driveway, but it was tricky to turn them around. About 10-15 minutes to Blue Ridge, and less than that to the nearest trailhead.
