The owners were lovely & super friendly. The cabin was quaint & minimalistic but that just added to the rustic charm. Awesome hiking & winery within 2 miles of the cabin. We definitely will be back to this little cabin on the creek.

Quiet little cozy spot in the woods, balcony porch overlooking the creek. We absolutely loved it, can't wait to visit again. The property owners, Sally & Jim were very pleasant and accommodating. We really enjoyed our conversations with them.

We fully enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. The cabin is very small and rustic. Great location and not far from town yet you feel like your way out in the country which was exactly what we were looking for. The best part was the back deck overlooking the creek. If your looking for fancy, move on. Jim and Sally were wonderful hosts. If your looking for easy, peace and quiet, it’s a 5 star!

We had a great time in this tiny house. The view over the river is gorgeous, and the house has just enough space for two to be comfortable and cozy. We made delicious breakfast both mornings and found the kitchen perfectly suited for our needs. We went to a beautiful wedding just down the road and then for a great hike the next morning. Jim and Sally even went out of their way to mail me back a pair of jeans I forgot and left behind, which was so so nice of them.

It was nice, but very small. The access to the stream was tough as well as to the cabin. We were really hoping to catch some fish, but it didn't appear to be a stocking stream.

We loved our stay at the tiny-house forest cabin. It was a great way to unwind from city life. The cabin had everything we needed. Sally and Jim were excellent hosts and fun to talk to. We enjoyed the beautiful setting and the animals that passed by such as deer, heron's, cardinals, and some other unidentified cuties maybe a beaver. Lots of wonderful forest sounds along with the creek lulled us to sleep. We visited wineries and cider businesses. Tubing at the creek was fun too!

Owners were very nice, scenery was great, but the cabin was much smaller than I expected. It is the size of a studio apartment. The refrigerator is very small, but if (unlike us) you are planning to eat out a lot, this doesn't matter much. This cabin would be great for sightseers who were only planning on spending nights at the cabin (since fees are low and nightly rate is great).
The rail spacing on the deck is plenty large enough for a small-ish 2 year old to fit through. I had to watch my then-16 month old daughter like I hawk whenever we were out there.
I have absolutely nothing against the owners at all - I just wanted to give my version of the story that I felt provides details that other reviews have not yet provided.

We were so sorry we didn't get to meet you both! We really enjoyed your cabin/tiny house for the three days during Christmas! Our favorite parts were definitely the stream and fireplace.
I can't get over how well you can hear the stream, and even opened the window at night (even though it was 30 outside) so I could hear it throughout the night. The comforter fools you into thinking you won't be warm at night, but my gosh that thing keeps every part of you nice & toasty! We went to the Walmart and got 7 bunches of firewood and used every bit of it when we stayed inside. It was a great fireplace!!!!
We went to Mountain Valley Farm (which we had no idea was so close) and got some steaks for the grill, along with some of their home made cheese! Super yummy!
We also took a ride to Amicalola Falls, which was beautiful...and another ride to Dahlonega to just putz around town. It was a great stay, and thank you for allowing us to enjoy your place!

Cabin was cozy and clean. The outside of the cabin was cute. The inside needed to have work done. The bathroom door stuck and was very noisy should you need to go to the bathroom. The bathroom shower was hard to adjust. The fireplace worked but was dated. The steep walk to and from the cabin needs to be paved or graveled. During the rain, we slipped and almost fell. The deck was nice and roomy. Location was convenient to downtown Ellijay, restaurants, and wineries. Didn't have bad time as we were out a lot. I decided to write this review as the reviews I based my trip on were all 5's for the most part. I use reviews to plan my trip. If I had know some of the issues above, I might have looked further. My husband and I are 66 and 78 and the trail to the cabin was daunting to us as it was steep and full of roots.

If you’re looking for a place to wind down and relax, this is it! Jim and Sally, our hosts, were so welcoming and friendly, and the cabin was comfortable and cozy. We loved sitting by the fire each night; sleeping to the sound of the running creek; and waking each morning and sitting on the front porch with a cup of warm coffee while taking in the beautiful scenery.
