Everything was great at this property. Essential needs were provided like, foil, garbage bags, dish soap, some spices, hair dryer etc.The property is in such a great area. The water flowing in front of the property was so nice to just sit by the fire or on the deck and watch the deer come to drink. They are quite friendly and came right up to the deck.

We love this cabin ! The outdoor spaces are so nice and the water literally right outside the door ! My favorite thing is to get up early , grab a cup of coffee , and watch the deer play in the creek ! What a show ! The three floors work out great for 3 couples to each have their privacy but group spaces to enjoy together. It wasn’t quite as clean as usual with dusty furniture , crumbs on the floor, and food left in fridge . But , overall we loved it !

Best cabin in Elijay!

The sound of the peaceful river rapids and the view from this cabin can't be beaten. The fire pit and the hot tub are in perfect locations to soak it all in. The cabin was well appointed for all of our needs. The comfortable beds made for a great night's rest! Would definitely love to stay here again!

Elijay Retreat

This was an enjoyable visit. The cabin and scenery were beautiful. I would love to return to this area to enjoy tubing on the river when the temperature warms up.

Nature Lovers Treasure

This was our 2nd stay and we absolutely love the location and the cleanliness of the cabin. The cabin is the perfect location to hear the natural rapids of the river. It’s a great place to sit and enjoy family and never leave during your stay. We will be back again!!

Perfect in every way!

We absolutely loved our stay. We enjoyed the view, spent some time by the campfire, loved the fireplace and Christmas tree. The house was perfect for us and decorated adorably. We hope to return in the near future.

Absolutely heaven

Such a wonderful girls’ trip (senior citizens)! The house was clean, well decorated, and comfy!! Lots of special touches. The beds were wonderful!! Mandy was a great hostess. Hope to make it back someday.

Graduation 2025

Our youngest some is graduating from college. We chose this lovely home as a gathering spot for our family of 5. Our hosts thought of all the details. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, soaps, etc. There was plenty of firewood, the river sounds are amazing. We loved our dinners on the screened in porch. Excellent stay in a top notch home. Thank you!

Our stay was amazing, the rapids were awesome and loud. Everything was above our expectations. We stay every year once or twice a year in the Blue Ridge Mountains Area. By far the best cabin we have rented in years. The cabin/view were excellent for 6 people. Hosts were very responsive to our questions/inquiries. We all wish we had reserved for a couple more days. Will absolutely be renting here again.

Wonderful Family Trip

My family loved being right on the river! We did the roughly 1 hour tubing trip ending at the cabin and it the was perfect length for our younger kids. The cabin and property are both well mainitained and we loved that all the outdoor spaces had comfortable furniture. We definitely plan to return next summer!

Like home

This home was so well equipped and organized that it felt like our home for a short 5 days (maybe better, ha). The location was super relaxing with sounds of the river, the owners super nice, the area beautiful, and we saw lots of deer, including bucks, every day. Could not have asked for anything better for a great visit with our kids.

Great stay!

We had extended family stay to celebrate Thanksgiving. It was a great visit! The owners definitely show attention to details. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed (just left the slow cooker we brought in the car). Beautiful setting on the river and we used the fire pit pretty much every waking hour. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view

This property was as advertised. Overlooking the river with pleasant sounds of water rushing over rapids, we certainly enjoyed the well stocked fire pit. The home is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well designed for cooking. Our son and his young family stayed in the adjacent home, also owned by our host. We all plan to stay here again.

5 wonderful days on the river

Spacious w/ great fire pit

Came to be near the water with family for a few days. Everyone had plenty of space, we cooked, put together a puzzle on the screened-in porch, enjoyed coffee on the top deck, hiked, played cards and made s’mores. It was a nice stay. Friends and fellowship.

Family Gathering

We had a family gathering. It was conveniently located for our family that is spread across the Eastern States. This rental was perfect for all of us. There is plenty of room for everyone. I could sit on the porch and listen to sounds of the river for hours. We went sightseeing, played foosball, played cards, sat on the porch with a glass of wine, watched football and talked and laughed. It was a perfect place for our perfect family vacation. Already booked for next year.
