Carpe Diem is a beautiful home! All of the rooms were large with plenty of room for our family. Everything was very clean. The view was amazing! One of our favorite things was the fireplace on the porch. We hope to return soon!

The space worked great for 10 people and sunset views were great! There is enough room for more than 4 cars to park there as there are two driveways even though we were told 4 was the max.

Beautiful upscale mountain home

This was a beautiful property with stunning views. The teens loved the downstairs area with separate sitting area and ping pong (or pool table) and foosball. The hot tub was a hit as well. We would definitely return.

Great Escape

We had to book last minute after Helene devastated our original vacation to Banner Elk. This was a great escape away from our busy lives and they little one was able to see various wildlife when we were on walks. We had plenty or room and all the amenities we could want.

Great location, Needs more attention to cleaning and maintaining

While we enjoyed the location of the cabin, the cabin could use a good cleaning. We arrived and one out of the 4 bunk beds were made. Two didn’t have sheets and one of them looked like it had been slept in. The bathrooms are beautiful but the floors in the shower need a deep clean. The beds could also use new mattress protectors. I tried reaching out to the host of the cabin about the unmade beds and never received a response. The cabin had a beautiful view and we appreciated the firewood available to make a fire. Location was great!

The property is lovely, but I could night find cleaning instruction manual, and I would have liked to get an alert about the written directions vs the actual address link. I receive so many email correspondences I missed the written instructions. We got it worked out, but not before we took the wrong route. I am a regular vrbo renter so I pride myself on being a good renter. But I think a 230.00 cleaning fee should allow some leniency if I didn’t do all that was required without seeing a manual

We liked the location very much.You need to know that one of the extension cables feeding the couch lamp has a blank spot where the live copper wire shows through (the extension that runs under the rug by the couch.
