Could use some help…

This was an ok stay.. the house did have a lot to offer but it didn’t shine as bright as it could’ve. It smelled a little dusty and moldy. The back door was wide open when we arrived. The comforters clearly have not been cleaned for some time, there was an oder from the decorative pillows and comforters. The layout is nice for multiple couples or kids. The gated, wrap around porch was nice to keep pets or little ones in. I know this place is in the middle of the woods but showed that it really isn’t cared for. Cobwebs, dust and spiders everywhere. There is no pond, there is a big puddle behind the house..there is also a pretty steep hill behind the house that could be dangerous to kids or the elderly. The fire pit area was nice and located close to downtown Blue Ridge. This place could use a thorough deep clean and have some more regular upkeep. We checked out a day early.

25th wedding Anniversary Celebration

Our stay at Tranquility Pond could not have been any nicer. The cabin is immaculate, comfortable, fully stocked with anything and everything you could think to reach for and simply enchanting. It is so warm and inviting that we wanted to sink in and never leave. Everyone in my group found a different reason to fall in love. My 23 year old son adored the game room and that he had the whole floor down there to spread out and call his own. My husband loved the kitchen where he made us some really fabulous meals. Everything he needed to prepare even a fancy Anniversary dinner was at hand, right down to a very thoughtful spice rack! My 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed the hot tub and roasting marshmallows on the firepit. I adored the swinging beds where I could sit and watch the deer head to the stream like clockwork every evening. I even got to sleep outside on 1 of them for a couple of nights during our stay and our Golden Retriever Trixi, well she loved just about everything. It was the first time ever that she got free access to being outdoors with no one telling her where she could and couldn't play. It was a perfect weekend and I can't think of a better way we could have celebrated our special day. We can't wait to head back in the fall to celebrate my birthday when all the leaves will be changing and we can enjoy another beautiful season at the cabin.

Beautiful property

This property was gorgeous. However, the outdoor hot tub did not work properly and was not fixed during our stay.

Christmas vacation

The house is setup nicely. The pond isnt really much of a pond. The only problem was the cleaning crew only surface cleans there was so much dust and dirt on the floors i had to buy a vacuum to get up all the dog hair and dust/dirt on the floors. Might be a little hard to get to if icy conditions without 4 wheel drive. Orher than that we enjoyed our stay

The relaxing getaway we needed

We loved staying at the Tranquility Pond and it was absolutely perfect overall. Quiet, secluded and luxurious which is exactly what I was looking for this trip to celebrate entering a new decade this year! The only thing I could add which would have made the stay flawless was that there were tons of seasonings provided however both salt containers and the pepper container were empty which were the main seasonings we needed as we bought a few other seasonings from home thinking that salt and pepper were staples and would be there however a not so quick trip into town solved that and I'm pretty sure I left the pepper there lol. Outside of that, everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you!!!

Beautiful home

This house was beautiful and recently updated. It was well stocked with plenty of essentials for our stay and the property management team was friendly and easy to communicate with. The house is a bit of a drive to downtown (as with all mountain houses around this area) so stock up on what you need while in town and make sure to grab any adult beverages prior to coming into to Morganton (and if you would like to have a cocktail there is no where close to buy any liquor so bring it with you!). I would definitely stay here again!
