Great place to stay

Home as clean, well built and set up perfect for multi family usage. Superb views too! We loved the outdoor fireplace and hot tub. Would highly recommend!

Great house but hot in summer

My family loved staying here, especially the views and the cozy outdoor fireplace. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was that the house was 85 degrees when we got there and took over 7 hours to get down to 75. I think it was because of the sun coming in through the windows. Other than that our stay was wonderful!

Sweet memories

Stunning views from anywhere in the house, day or night. Thoughtful placement of multiple areas in the home for gathering and spending time together. Quality furniture for lounging, CLEAN, well stocked kitchen, great communication with owner, quiet neighborhood, the list could go on and on!!!

Cozy Cabin

Had a girls weekend with 8 friends and we loved the property! Check in was easy, place was cleaned and very stocked. Beautiful view and comfy beds. I would definitely go back!

Beautiful, spacious cabin

This cabin was beautiful and had plenty of room to accommodate a large group, but it still felt cozy. Lots of outdoor space as well. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and porches. The property was very clean.

Perfect Mountain Escape

We had 4 adults and 3 toddlers and came up from Florida for a winter mountain escape. We enjoyed it so much! We were even lucky enough to have snow while we were visiting. The downstairs was huge like it’s own 2 bed room apartment. The other reviews were right drive a 4x4 vehicle up the gravel roads close to the house. We would definitely come again!

What an amazing house and location!!!! Very clean! Gorgeous home n gorgeous location! Everything u need is here. A couple of small suggestions- new toaster would be nice and maybe a couple more bath towels but I’m just nit-picking bc everything was wonderful! We can’t wait to come back.

This place is absolutely beautiful!

We were 2 families, totaling 7 people. We had PLENTY of room! The kids enjoyed the bottom level, with bunks, and a huge flat screen! The adults took the main level and the top level (really nice master suite). Every room had a flat screen except for the bunk room (but the kids had a large TV in the play area right outside the bunk room). The TVs are connected to the internet, so you simply log onto your accounts (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) to watch. The Wi-Fi was excellent, so no problems with streaming at all. The bathrooms were clean and modern! The kitchen was spacious, modern, and stocked with all the dishes, pots, and pans we needed. And we absolutely enjoyed both the fireplace in the "sunroom" and the fire pit outside! We used those every evening! (We went into town to buy firewood). Our only complaint was that there were a few crumbs on the floor in the living room area from previous guests, and some clothing left hanging on a shower rack, also from previous guests. Not sure how the cleaning crew missed that. But don't get me wrong. The place was clean. Just looked like they missed a couple of things. Working with the host was a breeze! And the highlight of the whole place is the view!!! The deck is fantastic, and just beckons one to sit and relax while taking in the view. The windows inside allow for that great view from most anywhere inside as well. Simply beautiful. We would definitely recommend

Great cabin for our girls trip! Property was just as described and was perfect size for our group.

Easy booking and check-in process. Property manager was very helpful and responsive to all my questions and even reached out after our arrival to make sure we had no issues. Will definitely return.

Simply Amazing

This was a family vacation with our 2 youngest children, our oldest son, his wife and their 4 children. It was a 10 out of 10, everyone agreed! We couldn’t have asked for better weather!!! The cabin is perfect and could possibly make an offer on it!!!!

Mountain paradise

We found the property to be exactly what we were looking for. The views were spectacular and the peacefulness of the setting was ideal. Close enough to downtown and supplies. Although road up was a bit treacherous. Definitely bring rear wheel drive vehicle. But it added to the allure. Excellent outdoor amenities (fire place, fire pit, jacuzzi, etc.) and stocked inside (cooking essentials, tools and even oil and seasonings). Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous Cabin with Gorgeous Views

My family and my mother and sister/fiancé planned a short trip up to Blue Ridge from Atlanta. The cabin was perfect! Our kids are 6 and 3, so they loved the bunk beds and playing out on the deck. We took the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train ride which was excellent, and we cooked-in all of our meals. Beautiful, clean cabin!! I definitely would recommend.

Blue Mountain Experience

Enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Beautiful view, lots to do and see within close proximity, spacious and accommodating. Just make sure you have a car/truck with AWD or 4WD to navigate steep narrow road up the mountain.

Immaculate cabin and location; poor cleanliness and communication

The cabin is stunning as is the location. Unfortunately we found the microwave not cleaned, waste bin outside not emptied, TVs not working for live TV, and had no contact with property management even though we left two messages.

Nice place but could improve

The place was overall nice. However, my Honda Odyssey had trouble getting out of the drive a few times and it got worse as the week went on. A couple of the dining chairs are loose. The fan over the table on the deck is extremely loose and not safe. There was no shock on site for the hot tub which limited our ability to use it (though the owner did bring some). The trash service didn’t run on Friday or Tuesday (though the owner called them when we let her know). Given that the property is for 10 people, more cookware and cooking utensils would be very helpful. Several of the baking sheets were dirty upon arrival. There are no bath mats. Some of the towels and washcloths were stained. A hook in the master bath close to the shower (maybe in front of the toilet on the wall) would be helpful. More towels would be nice. We had 10 people and extra towels would have been nice so we could shower after using the hot tub or going to the lake. The remote for the master bedroom did not work. There is a Roku in the master but no remote so we had to reprogram the living room Roku remote to watch tv at night. You have to purchase firewood if you use up what is there (we hunted for firewood instead). We also feel it isn’t adequate for 10 people. The blowup mattress would not fit in the room with the bunk beds without having to remove the ladder so we had to put it in the downstairs living area which wasn’t ideal at all. We found a scorpion right near the hot tub so pest control around the perimeter would be nice. The code was very generic so we didn’t feel safe with all of us leaving. She did provide an alternate code but the generic one was still active and we felt it was too easy to guess. Changing it to something else would be nice. All in all, these were little things that just added up. It was a nice stay with a beautiful view, we just wouldn’t opt to stay again.

Outstanding Stay

Our family of 6 plus my two sisters stayed at this property over spring break and even with 8 people, it felt spacious and comfortable. The house exceeded our expectations! It is as beautiful as the pictures show and has everything you could need for your stay. We were blown away with the attention to detail and the beautiful touches. The beds were incredibly comfortable too, which is always a bonus when staying on vacation! The location was perfect-the perfect amount of seclusion to feel like you're getting away from everything and everyone, but close enough to still have access to anything you need. We were able to go zip-lining which was indeed only a short drive away. After that, we went mini-golfing with the kids and gem mining which was a hit. Getting to the house is very unique--up a narrow, private drive up the mountain, but once you arrive, you have the most beautiful views with the most perfect sunsets. The last thing we need to touch on is the communication with the hosts. On our first night, I could not find information on how to get into the property, and within a minute of messaging him on the VRBO website, he had responded and we touched base on our phones. From there, anytime something came up, his response and communication was TOP NOTCH. The host went above and beyond, and for that we are more pleased than we could have imagined staying at this fantastic property. If you are between this house and any other, you can't go wrong staying here. It is a dream. Can't wait to come back some day!

Amazing cabin. Everything we wanted!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was so clean, and had everything we needed. The owner and property management company was so attentive and had great communication. We had a little ice on the mountain the first day, so just be careful with that, however, apparently doesn't happen very often. The cabin was absolutely perfect. The view was fantastic, and location is prime, and close to everything. Really, really great!
