“Beautiful pastoral, location, self service (no staff or registration), comfortable beds, very clean room and bathroom. Nice gathering space with coffee/tea available. We did experience quite a bit of noise from the guests (who arrived after midnight) directly above us and since we were the only two rooms (8 suites total available) I’m not sure why they had us together and not separated. Both the bathroom and closet doors did not fully close without slamming them forcefully.”

“There was no microwave in the room making it difficult to heat up food. We had to walk to Meadowbrook Inn to use theirs since they are the primary hotel for Azalea Garden Inn. The water took forever to heat up to take a shower. There are very limited plug in spots for your phone chargers. No one on the property except one maintenance man and one housekeeper. It’s not like it use to be. Grounds not pretty as they use to be either. Everything handled by Meadowbrook Inn; check in and check out.……

“We arrived and had issues with the lock. It took maybe 20 minutes for our hosts to arrive and take care of the problem with friendly smiles and assurances we could contact them again should we need. The Everett suite is pristine and just lovely. And it’s just a short walk for local shops. Perfect setting on the balcony watching people, cars, and trains go by! I’m so thankful we booked this suite! Barbara from Nashville.”

“What a great spot on the lake! We- and our two dogs- were in town while working on a construction project and this was the perfect spot for us. We all loved jumping in the lake at the end of our warm and dusty days- catching the sunset from the dock and the porch- and then waking up to the most glorious lake mornings. Clean, comfortable and convenient- and well-priced for the offering. Very easy communication with the owner. The dock must offer the absolute best view of the July 4th fireworks!”

“The place was well appointed and clean. The king size bed was fabulous! However, if you don’t like stairs, noise and no yard for your dog, don’t stay here. It’s by a hospital so lots of ambulances and helicopters. There is also someone in the neighborhood with a really loud motorcycle. Lots of road noise. There are earplugs and a sound machine but it was no match. The hot water takes a long time to come on so you end up washing with cold water. There are thirteen pretty steep stairs to get to……

“The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. He had some food essentials in the refrigerator and had some scrumptious treats from the local bakery. The suite was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies and was……
