Cozy welcoming cottage

Such a welcoming, warm, cozy & updated cottage. The gorgeous view, hot-tub and fireplace made this rainy spring weekend a joyful stay. The hostesses even left a gift of flowers for my special birthday!

Cozy Cottage

Perfect Couple Getaway

From the moment you walk in the cottage with the mood lighting and soft music to the last sunset this was by far the most fabulous vacation we have had. It had everything you could possibly need and the Cottage Stays staff was so attentive and accommodating. The place was clean, tidy and organized and they also prepared a perfectly crafted guide book to refer to with information/instructions about the cottage itself, along with some amazing suggestions of local spots for shopping, restaurants, activities, etc. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning to Cottage Stays.

Great Character

Perfect

My wife and I stayed at Bedrock for a quick weekend getaway, and we cannot say enough great things about this unique cool little cottage The cottage itself has everything you need. The hot tub is an amazing perk, and the waterfront location is top-notch. We caught an amazing sunset one evening You are very close to the village and grocery stores We cannot wait to come back for an extended stay!

Peaceful and comforting

great lakefront cottage for quiet vacation with two water crazy dogs!

If you are looking for a quiet lakefront cottage on the water this is the place for you. My two labs absolutely loved the easy access to the water and I got my exercise going up and down the stairs(they are not steep so easily handled by me and my 10 year old lab). The weather was beautiful and the cottage has everything you need while being quite unique.

Paradise on rainy days!!

Bedrock was a lovely place to relax for a few days. In spite of the rain, we had a wonderful time seeing the birds at the bird feeder, watching movies on the awesome tv in front of the fire and catching glimpses of the various wildlife outside the full wall window. And the hot tub was fantastic!! In between the drizzling rain, we enjoyed sitting in the amazing hot tub! This place gets a 10 out of 10!!

Bedrock Beach House

What a gorgeous place. My family of 3 had the best time. From the moment we stepped into the cottage, it was cozy, had all the amenities and the view was spectacular. Watching the many birds in the morning over coffee, we haven't seen so many blue jays in one setting. The hot tub was perfect as was the fire pit. I would highly recommend this cottage. Wonderful stay at Bedrock Beachhouse

This was our second time staying at Bedrock Beachhouse. We absolutely love this cottage! It has wonderful beach access, but if that’s a little chilly a quick run up the stairs to the hottub is just amazing! We all enjoy the games, both inside and outside. This year we brought our pup with us and she enjoyed her stay just as much! The fire pit and back yard offer beautiful views and space to play. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cottage! Our 10 hour trip is totally worth it for the beauty of Lake Huron! See you next year!

It’s hard to capture in just a few words how truly wonderful our stay at Bedrock Beach House was. From the moment we booked, Jennifer maintained thoughtful and consistent communication, ensuring we had all the necessary details to navigate our stay seamlessly. The cabin was equipped with everything we could possibly need—from a full set of cooking utensils to cozy entertainment options like board games, televisions, and a fireplace. My dog, Luna, even enjoyed playing with the toys provided! Every detail was designed with guests' enjoyment in mind, creating an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. The kitchen was spotless, everything neatly arranged, and the overall space radiated warmth and care. Beyond the cabin, the surrounding beauty was breathtaking. A perfect place to relax!

Bedrock Beach House was perfect for us. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcome, like being wrapped in a warm blanket. It was the little touches that made it special.The cottage is perfectly situated for wonderful views of the lake. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Everything was spotless. Our favorite week thanks to Bedrock Beach House!

We visit Bayfield annually from Pennsylvania. Making the trip with two kids can be nerve wracking when renting a cottage without seeing it beforehand. Bedrock Beach House did not disappoint!!! If we could give 6 stars we would. As my 10 year old said, “You can tell the people who own this, really care about making our vacation really good!” From the extreme cleanliness, to the board games and yard games, to a fully stocked kitchen, we could not have asked for more. Oh and the view is AMAZING as is the beach access. We cannot say enough good things about Bedrock Beach House! We’ll be back next year!!! Thank you to Cottagestays.ca for a great week!

Our Week of Bliss

This is the second year that I have booked a vacation with CottageStays.ca we have enjoyed both stays and anticipate booking again.. Our choice this year was Bedrock Beach House a choice that I am so happy we made. The cottage itself is stocked with everything you could possibly want to make an enjoyable stay. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, the second washroom located in the outer shed was a great idea and certainly not what one might think it to be. We had a very hot week and the cottage was never uncomfortable. The orioles kept me amused and they would let you know when the feeder was in need of being topped up. The owner nicely left a jar of Grape Jelly to feed them with. The ultimate was the nightly sunsets no words can explain the beauty. We took a short drive to the Huron County Playhouse to enjoy a live performance that did not disappoint and the proximity to Bayfield allowed for pleasant dinning experiences. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Paradise in Ice

A normal winter week hit us, and from opening the door to the warm fire, and soothing music video, everything was perfect.Very tastefully arrange cottage.NOT ONE DRAFT. It was interesting seeing the shifting ice, and daily visits of colourful birdsWe will try to come back in summer.
