“By far the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed. We love remote, connect with nature, peaceful locations and have stayed at many. Most you are fighting cobwebs on the porch, limited kitchen amenities, etc. Walking into Stoney Porch was like walking into a model home in a new neighborhood. Everything was immaculate, including the porches and the grill. The view across the creek, feeding of deer were all things we loved. “This is an excellent place to stay. It’s 4-5 miles out of town and is very quiet. Our stay was perfect!”

“Great location, but not quite as easy to walk downtown as it appears, since there no sidewalks and you are walking in the (very wide) streets. It’s small, but well appointed and very clean. Communication with the management was excellent. As a couple, we would definitely stay again. ”

It would have been the perfect place to see the total solar eclipse if the clouds hadn't rolled in. Still worth it. We enjoyed the sky, trees, birds, butterflies and deer from our secure and serene location. We felt very much at home. The cabin was immaculate.”

“We had an amazing time in this beautiful house on the river. All the amenities made it so relaxing. We enjoyed the river, wildlife, the screened porch, hot tub, & fire pit. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and dishes and made it great to have our own meals. Everything was very clean except for the dishes. There was food residue on many of the plates and silverware but we were provided with dish soap and sponges so we just washed things before use. We are hoping to visit again. Overall, a……

“The location is 5 - 10 minutes out of town conveniently located where most of the wineries are too. We needed somewhere to go last minute, and this was available. The owner is very nice, responsive through communication and they even shared eggs from their yard <3 should we ever come back to the area we would definitely consider staying again. Would only recommend for 2 people due to size.”
