“This was our third visit to Marie’s Cottage & we had a wonderful time, just as the last couple of times we stayed there. It has improved on the cleanliness and the carpets, cushions etc looked like they’d been cleaned, but the smaller things, such as descaling the taps have been overlooked; However, as I said in my previous review, we still love it there. The location is perfect for our group’s needs & we will certainly be going back again. There was no reason for us to call the Agency for……

“Our family generally enjoyed Marble Bridge Farm especially the pool and hot tub. First impression not great as porch and key pad cobwebby. Other areas outside, like lights, similar. Kitchen well equipped but lacking a large non stick frying pan in good condition. We were surprised that for an up market property there were no table napkins. We couldn’t switch on the large television in the annex. On investigation we found the remote had one battery missing. We never found out how to turn……

“To improve facilities a freezer would have been useful and a hairdryer. There were only 2 of us, with 6 probably a squeeze.”

“Great location”

“Beautiful period house, in easy walking distance of town centre ”

“Absolutely beautiful home in an excellent location, plus it’s pet-friendly. The home is on three levels with steep staircases, which were not at all a problem for us, but would not be ideal for everyone. Still, I highly recommend it. Arundel is a charming town. The castle is stunning. The restaurants were steps away and excellent. Wish we’d booked a longer stay!”

“Lovely confortable accommodation, within easy walking distance to the beach and local pub in West Wittering.”

“This place needs a deep clean. As soon as we opened the door we knew is wasn't clean due to the smell. Never had this problem at other rentals. The bathrooms had scum on sinks and unclean toilets. The carpets hadn't been vacuum and the tiled floors were sticky. The leather settee and chairs were cracked and grimy. The bed linen was clean but old and faded. Uncomfortable old matressess. Kitchen equipment like saucepans and baking trays needed replacing. Even found dirty cups in the cupboards. Very……

“Cottage was lovely and quirky comfortable and warm, but there was a few issues, cobwebs in the bedroom table lamp in the lounge gave me an electric shock! Stairs outside need looking at as very worn out and not enough utensils pizza tray didn’t fit the small oven. The local Woodmancote pub was great for Sunday lunch and you get a 20% discount too.”

“My bridesmaids and I stayed at Badgers Cottage on my wedding eve and they stayed on through the weekend. It was the perfect setting for getting ready on my wedding morning with lots of light and just a comfortable space. The outside area is gorgeous and the whole place is done to a very high standard. I only wish I'd had more time to relax and enjoy it!I did have a small booking issue going via VRBO with a discrepancy between what VRBO said I owed and the company said. VRBO sent me round in……

“We were excited for our stay as working mums some precious time for R&R was much anticipated. The listing on Arbo looked great … nice setting & a hot tub over looking fields was the tranquil getaway we had in mind. However When we arrived we found the hot tun had not been cleaned (like & mud & hair). Also the temperature was.not hot.The accommodation wa dirty.. cups that were dirty with lisp it marked, shower not cleaned properly & bin dirty too. Worktops also dirty. The response to get it all……

“Jay was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We had a little issue that he immediately resolved”
