“Great family resort - it isn’t as “upscale” as some other resorts but the staff is the friendliest I’ve ever encountered and the pools and beach are great. I also appreciate that they don’t nickel-and-dime customers for every little thing (valet parking, beach chairs and umbrellas are included in the resort fee).”

“SouthSeas is still recovering from Hurricane Ian, but that did not stop our family from having an amazing stay in Captiva! The beach is gorgeous and spans over 2 miles, the trolley allows for transportation throughout the resort and renting a golf cart allowed for us to cruise through town! We will definitely be back!”

“Right on the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels provided. Could easily walk to two restaurants. Perfect view for sunsets and wildlife viewing and stargazing. We stayed on upper floor which had great views. The porches could have used a simple curtain to create a little more privacy when you walked up and down the stairs. Expensive but we had a great experience. ”

“The location was awesome. Very easy beach access. The accommodations were comfortable but a little dirty. Arms on chairs and sofa looked like previous renters used them as napkins to wipe off their hands. One of our chairs was stained in an embarrassing spot so no one sat on it because it was gross. Only one roll of toilet paper left for a two day stay with three residents. The kitchen was well appointed but no salt and pepper or coffee filters. We enjoyed our stay but it made us mad that we……

“House is a great find, with lots to do for active people! The backyard is what sold it for us and it did not disappoint. Pool, hotub, outdoor shower, lots of seating AND a sand volleyball court (big win for my teenage daughter volleyball player). The family also had a blast playing pool together in the rec room. If you are looking for a place that's been recently renovated with lots to keep people busy, this is a great option.”

“Stayed for one month, unit was as advertised. Master Suite exceeded expectations. Most other renters have been returning for many years and were very friendly and helpful. Some updating of cupboards and appliances should be considered in the next few years. We do plan to return if possible next year.”

“The 2bd beachfront condo was exactly as described. The layout was perfect and the views were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the screened in balconies The only thing that would have made it better is if 2 chairs and an umbrella were included in the price and not rentals from a separate company. But otherwise we were just extremely happy and will definitely stay here again. ”

“Excellent communication from the property owners and great location (traffic was easy to navigate on this part of the island). The property owners sent us some ideas of things to do in the area and were very accommodating with check-in as we were arriving late in the evening! So many fun activities for kids of all ages including the beach. There is a rental company steps away from the property for beach equipment and our kids also enjoyed the property pool throughout our stay. We look forward to……

“The location is great and the place was clean and quiet. It looked like there was some water damage in the back corner of the kitchen where the paint is bubbling up from the wall, but it did not feel damp and I could not smell any mildew or mold so I think it is clean. The place was almost perfect. I can only make a few suggestions for improvement. First, the pillows are very thin, and the toilet seat needs to be replaced (the current one is cheap vinyl and feels like cheap vinyl when you sit on……
