“Rooms were nice and clean. The staff was nice. The pool was not kept and had lots of bugs and looked almost stagnant.. Teenage boys running up and down the hallway at 11 pm didn’t make for a great nights sleep but that was at no fault to the staff.”

“Clean room and staff”

“Rooms was terrible, had to charge rooms. Second floor room smelled like mildew. First floor room were we stayed had a bad foot odor smell in the room, food debris was on carpet, floor was not vacuumed, bathroom floor has some brown smugs on floor and the bad smell coming from the air conditioner. We purchased cleaning items, mop, pinesol, disinfectant spray and cleaned our room. Our room smelled much better. We did not sleep under the covers on the beds, we brought throw blankets and slept……

“I wish they would have specified that non smoking rooms are all upstairs. We had a handicapped person with us and getting them up the stairs (no elevators) was very hard.”

“Would like to see how it’s going to look after the renovations. Dining area had a lot of towels around the bottom of the counters. May want to consider adding more juice options for breakfast.”

“It is very old and it smells old needs major updates . Wall sockets hanging out and all furniture is from the 90s Staff super nice . There is stores close by. Parking lot big. Just needs updated bad”

“Our stay at the Quality Inn in Clarksdale MS was unacceptable! Upon arrival there were people at the front desk already complaining. After check in we went to the room and it was awful. Mold in the freezer of the refrigerator. The mattress on the bed was stained and had no mattress pad. The shower didn't have a shower curtain. I went to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the room and bathroom. I went to the front desk and showed them pictures of everything. I asked for a some towels to clean……

“The front staff was very nice and professional I requested accommodations and staff made it happen, now far as the rooms it's okay for a short stay and if you need a smoking room, the rooms need minor upgrades like fixing trimming around the baseboards, steam cleaning the chairs inside the room, replacing plug covers, providing housekeepers with the items needed to keep the rooms up , hold your guests accountable for destroying the property when upgrades are made, this could be a great location……

“A beautiful and unique place to stay in Clarksdale! The decor in lobby is fantastic and such a welcoming vibe. The honor bar and breakfast supplies were most appreciated. Every detail is thought of. Rooms are simple, comfortable and cool! Highly recommend!”

“Kitchen fully equipped - made a gods dish of pasta for the four of us ! We happened to be there on a Sunday with a blues concert in the hostel on the same day ! Wonderful ”
