My wife and I lugged our heavy bags for over an hour in cold rain trying to find Cavalieri’s Grand. GPS couldn’t locate it nor could employees of countless stores we asked. Finally my wife discovered a bar where four or five employees got out their phones and searched, too. They were baffled. One of them volunteered to walk with us to the address where it was supposed to be. It was a small office building but no signage for CG. We learned that the Cavalieri’s Grand was actually a reworked office space among other businesses, including an insurance office down the same hallway.
Problem #1 the tiny elevator had a sign warning people that there was a 3 person limit. To get the two of us inside and our six bags meant taking multiple slow trips.
Once on our floor, we couldn’t see where to go because the hallways were completely dark. Finally we located our room, using the flashlight to punch in the code numbers on the door.
Inside we found a tiny common area that reminded me of my former dentist’s old cramped waiting room. Turned out our room was one of three or so others that once served as offices or possibly for filling cavities. Private remodeled bathroom and decent sleeping area with non-responding A/C unit. Almost no amenities. And don’t leave without one of you staying inside who can manipulate the locks and get you back in. We asked the owner how long away was the airport. He said “I don’t know.” Plan on 30 minutes. Couldn’t get there soon enough
