「Our room faces out the front and had a fantastic view over the loch. Very nice bathroom and well appointed room. It even has American style air conditioning which will cool / dehumidify the room. Just a small note of caution it is an old building so there is no elevator. It is a 18 minute walk to the ferry / train terminal. 「The Whiskey Vault business runs a a bar restaurant plus a small hotel. The best of this accommodation is its convient town center location. The room we had is clean but space is really tight. When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar. 「Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated. The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious.」

「Both elevators were out at one point, the staff couldn’t check me in even minutes earlier than the 3pm guideline,and the whole ‘meal thing’ felt weird about inclusions or exclusions. Pay to park (but only 10 pounds) for two nights - but still…great location for rail or ferry, but the staff couldn’t check use an upgrade. PS. Why are the damn hallways so narrow to your room? I could barely get by a maids cart…seems like the fire regulations would be wider. Narrowest I have ever seen in any hotel....
