“The Outdoors Inn is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean and comfortable with an upscale simplicity that fits the North Idaho style. I appreciate the ease of check in, as well as the eco friendly style. There's no daily interruption of maid services, but a quick call brings anything you might need. Its a home away from home. This is a small locally owned buisness and I appreciate knowing they care about the buisness and their guests. The Outdoors Inn is my first choice when I visit Sandpoint. ”

“First time staying at this property, the road turning off the highway was a little tricky to find and could easily be passed. The outside building is nothing special, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the suite we stayed in. Very cute, warm and cozy, clean and many amenities that accentuated our visit. Great destinations basically just to sleep and fairly close to all the things.”

“The condo was just as advertised. Furniture was great, beds were acceptable. The greatest asset was the ski-in/ski-out. Many boast this perk, but we literally walked out the back door, put on skis, and skied down to the base. You have to pole a bit or take the skis off and walk the 10 yards to the lift, but it was very convenient. You can ski right back to the condo steps where you started, though finding the trail is a bit challenging. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Oh yeah, the……

“Short stay in Sandpoint was lovely! Mindy and family were great hosts and accommodations were comfortable, beautifully decorated and well stocked for a short stay or even longer. Location was ideal for a night out in downtown Sandpoint, walking distance to street festival and local venue for a show. We would definitely recommend this little nook to anyone traveling to Sandpoint area.”

“This was a perfect little place for two, walking distance from Schweitzer village and the lifts, a a much better price than you can get from the Schweitzer owned lodging. We had originally booked three nights at Schweitzer owned lodging for January, but when our beloved dog was suddenly diagnosed with lymphoma, we had to reschedule our trip. Schweitzer management refused to refund or let us reschedule our dates. I still wanted to ski Schweitzer, so when we found this place instead and booked for……

“The house is very spacious, there was plenty of space for our large family (9 adults, 9 kids). We loved everything about the house! The ski in -ski out access was magical, but a little tricky. Since we had 5 small children 6 and under, parents needed to drive them to the lift. The older children (ages 7, 8, 11, 12) and adults were able to do the ski access to lifts. The host, Lou, was very helpful and accommodating. We had a fabulous stay!”
