“This place is better than described. It’s cozy and has anything you need for a getaway besides shower supplies. Close to the Mammoth Cave National Park: take the ferry route, is just 20 minutes. We had the chance to see the fireflies just from the deck. It’s lake access, and also this place has copious water gears, including kayaks. Corlynn and Joe are wonderful people, very helpful.”

“Cleanliness was above. It rained hard one day, but to sit on the porch and smell and listen to it was what I needed. The big surprise was there were feral cats, and it made me feel like I was home. The worst part was having only three days, and I had to leave. Thank you again. I am looking forward to many more stays.”

“Great little cabin with plenty of room for everything. If youre looking to be away from it all, this is the place to stay! Still within driving distance to to places like Mammoth Cave and Lincoln historical sites. Would definitely stay again.”

“The property was very nice and clean. I was a little misled with location information. We were looking for something close to mammoth cave and the listing stated 16 minute drive, we couldn’t find that route and it was more like 45 minutes. Maybe if we took the green river ferry but it was only open from 8-6.”

“This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay.”

“Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place.”

“Loved the covered deck especially since it mostly rained while we were there. Nice grill and grill utensils. The power went out the first evening so we were thankful for the candles. We were traveling with our 3 adult children, so we loved having 2 beds in the third bedroom— this is not easy to find elsewhere.”

“Had a great time at the Cozy Cabin! Email was sent to check in and all the necessary information. Mammoth Cave is a huge place with many access areas so it was easy to see the confusion with proximity. Walking distance to Nolan Lake. Quite and clean just what we needed to get away. ”

“The Redbird Hideaway is a beautiful place to unwind with family. We drank out coffee each morning on the covered porch listening to birds. It was cozy without being crowded and close enough to mammoth cave and lake nolin for us to get some hiking and fishing in during our stay. Highly recommend.”

“Terrific, clean spot with spectacular view of Nolin Lake from the porch. While a little long (40min) , the drive to the mammoth caves is beautiful, and the serenity of being on the lake is unmatched. Responsive and helpful hosts.”

“Cute little house with great things for kids inside. We didn’t stay long and we were there for Mammoth Cave and loved staying at the house. It is in the middle of nowhere so eating out is very limited and grocery stores are far from the location. The host was great about informing us about all of this beforehand so we could prepare and was great about giving us ideas of things to do in the area. We were fortunate that the Green River ferry was up and running so getting to Mammoth Cave was not……

“My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Lake house. The sofas and beds are very comfy and the decor sets a relaxing mood. There are a few things that could use some tweaking, like the bedroom door, maybe a larger shower curtain and some attention to the deck. However, over all our stay was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend and also plan on visiting again”
