“We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. Although it is close to the center, it's in a less busy side street, making it quieter than other options. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful, with stunning views of the Acropolis! We enjoyed breakfast on the patio each morning which was exceptionally presented, tasted fresh and traditional. It was a great way to start……

“Large airy room in a quaint part of Athens. Room had a walk in waredrobe, so easy to keep room tidy. Kitchen had essentials. Nice to get Espresso coffee maker and free capsules. ”

“Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was water in the fridge, a coffee maker and hot pot. The hotel was located close to shops and restaurants. I liked that entrance to the hotel and room was just by an access code. Didn’t have to be concerned about losing a key or key card. ”

De ligging is ideaal: in een van de meest bruisende wijken van Athene met gedurende de dag en ook ‘s avonds veel vertier. Met zicht op de, op loopafstand gelegen, Acropolis. De ontvangst is aller hartelijkst en men is uiterst behulpzaam. Plekken om te ontbijten zijn in de buurt ruim voorhanden want daarin wordt niet voorzien wat geen gemis is. Kortom een absolute aanrader”

“Serait bien de nommer dans la description qu'il n'y a pas de service aux chambres (ex: pour avoir de nouvelles serviettes), pas très bien insonorisé avec l'extérieur, douche à l'italienne moins pratique car il y a de l'eau partout. Proche de tous les services et les points touristiques à voir.”

“Staff were kind and friendly - breakfast was delicious and on a beautiful rooftop with a view of the acropolis. Would recommend. Now knowing the hotel layout I would also probably spring for a slightly fancier room as the ones on the 3rd floor opened to an outdoor corridor and likely a little quieter.”

The hotel is located near some lively restaurants which is quite handy but you can hear the music into the night if you are in a front room.”

“Good location close to Main Street and airport bus station around 15 mins walk. A lot of restaurants nearby. However a bit noisy during night time as too close to the restaurants. Nice breakfast and lobby ”

“Self service apartment. Contact through WhatsApp and get the PIN to go in and check-in is completed. Big supermarket within 10min walk and cooking too available. Neighbourhood is a bit too quiet and night clubs at night. Eva (point of contact) was very helpful throughout the whole process and she helped us in staying 2 more nights there when we missed our flight back home.”
