「Unfortunately, our experience did not match the photos or descriptions shown on the website. The room we were assigned looked significantly different from the online images and appeared to be in poor condition. Upon arrival, we found several cleanliness and maintenance issues, including what appeared to be pet waste embedded in the carpet (partially hidden by a chair), pet urine stains along the baseboards, and what appeared to be blood on a shelf in the bathroom. 「If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong.」

「The Lodge is beautiful. Great views and nice staff. Parking is a problem. They have dedicated charging spots that are NEVER full. They run out of regular slots especially in the evening. I miss the old Lodge breakfast, it hasn't been the same since Covid.」

「Our room was located on bottom floor. Between the noise from guest above us and city noise, we didn't sleep very well. They only offer coffee in the lobby. They did offer breakfast before covid. It would be nice to bring it back. Our mini fridge was stuck on freeze mode and almost froze my insulin before I saw it had been turned all the way up! In the bathroom the toilet was low to the ground causing a trip to the toilet an experience. When taking a shower, water temp very nice, but the shower...

「Not what I expected, even for an Oyo hotel. Hotel was actually an adjunct to a gas station, with the cashier at the station being the front desk. But room was okay, can't complain much given small $ paid.」

「The front desk person, Kayla was OUTSTANDING. The cleaning staff was running a little behind schedule and Kayla was honest with us at check in, as we were 30 minutes early. Kayla was super helpful recommending places to eat. She was super positive when interacting with us and totally made us feel welcome. Great job Kayla, a real asset to their staff!」
