Perfect Mountain Getaway

We loved everything about this property. The home had ample space inside for our family and the property was absolutely beautiful - our children spent hours outside enjoying the yard, pool table and hot tub. Would love to visit again in the summer!

The home is in a gorgeous and quiet neighborhood, with the background noises of the river. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and all that you would need was furnished. We greatly appreciated the experience.

Great getaway

The outdoor space is amazing. Close to town and Grandfather winery. There was everything you need in the cabin. Lighting in the kitchen/living area could be better but no deal breaker.

Lovely

This is a lovely spot near Boone. A fairly easy drive to most places with plenty in the area to do. Highway 105 seems to be more congested than the last time we stayed at the house. The yard is wonderful - especially for the dogs!

January in Boone

Great cabin a few minutes from Boone. Our dogs loved the really large fenced in yard, and it keeps us from worrying about keeping track of them minute by minute. The cabin was clean and spacious, plenty of room for the six in our family. The weather was nice for the first and last day, so we had some time to sit on the great porches. Boone itself is a great town, with breweries, music and good food. All in all, a great stay!

Gorgeous mountain home with idyllic backyard

Our family had a fabulous stay at Cozy Twin Rivers Edge. The home was well stocked with anything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. The backyard is ridiculously entertaining... the waterfall, koi pond, firepit, and the ping pong and pool table kept our family totally amused without ever having to leave the house! We will certainly hope to return for another visit in the future.

Fabulous mountain home!

We stayed here for Parent’s Weekend at App State. It was only about a 10-15 min drive to campus. We loved everything about this house. It was super clean, comfortable beds, lovely master bathroom, and the backyard was GORGEOUS! Wonderful communication with the host. This will be our #1 place to book when we head back to see our daughter. We were all sad to have to leave. Our dogs also loved the fully fenced porch. We can’t wait to come back.

New Family Tradition

We loved this place, just as advertised. I was worried the kitchen might be small or outdated and it WAS NOT. STocked with all teh things you might need or forget. This will be a new family 'spot'. So easy to get to and convenient. Only a few minutes from sugar mountain and not up some of those crazy steep hills like other cabins. The neighborhood is gated and quiet with lovely sounds from the close by river. We felt very special to be here.

Awesome place with fenced yard.

Highly recommend Cozy Rivers. It was perfect for our 3 week get away. Super well equipped. We spent a lot of time in beautiful back yard and on the porches. Close to hiking, Wautaga River runs through the gates development - although we were told renters cannot fly fish in the development. Grandfather Winery around the corner w great music & wine. Yard was perfect for our dogs. We could even lock them on the porch to contain even further. We will def rent here again. It felt like home!

Family vacation

We had a great time at the cabin. The neighborhood was great and secure. We spent lots of time at the fire pit and in the hot tub. Kids loved playing pool on the deck. Location was great for hikes at Grandfather mountain and visiting all the small towns. The only downside was that some of the fencing around the yard had some holes in it that were big enough for the dog to fit through. This made leaving him off the leash not the easiest as we were worried he would get out. Other than that we really enjoyed our Thanksgiving at cozy twin rivers.

Beautiful home with many amenities

Our group of 5 adult family members enjoyed a wonderful stay in this home. We had a minor issue with a leaking toilet that was repaired within several hours. The maintenance staff was friendly and professional. The kitchen had every amenity for food preparation and we cooked almost all our meals there. The hot tub was perfect for the cool evenings. The property and water feature were beautiful and relaxing. We also enjoyed playing pool at the outside pool table. October is the perfect time to enjoy this home.

Amazing home, all the amenities you'll need

We had such a great time at Cozy Twin Rivers Edge. It was the perfect place for us to stay for our first family ski trip at Sugar Mountain. Very conveniently located, it took us less than 15 min to get there or to any local grocery stores. The property itself was spotless and beautiful. The hot tub was huge and so appreciated after a long day of skiing. There were plenty of towels and blankets, even spices in the kitchen. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for our dogs and allowed us to relax while they had fun exploring outside. There were even bathroom shampoos and conditioners laid out, like a hotel would do for you. The fireplace was not working when we were there but the property manager was very prompt in responding to us and I'm sure it will be fixed for the next visitor. This place has a ton of amenities and for a reasonable price...trust me, I did my homework and spent hours comparing places in the area. Definitely would recommend staying here and we will look to hopefully come back in the summer!

Amazing!

The house was drop dead gorgeous! I loved every inch of it and it was beautifully landscaped. The neighborhood was super peaceful and loved that it was a gated community. Nice to have starter supplies and everything we needed as far as cooking, dinnerware, and things you would find in your own home. The stream was relaxing and the pond was a nice feature. Plenty of outdoor space as well as inside. The lighting was a nice feature and the home was well taken care of. Love that wood and the starter kit could be purchased and dropped off before we got there. They also had gas for the grillnand lighter fluid which helped get the bon fire going. The only thing I would say not as a complaint but just a issue that could be looked into was the water hose spout needs to be replaced it was just gushing water everywhere when we extinguished the fire pit, the ice will not come out of the ice maker, and the hot tub wasn't exactly hot. The master bedroom does have a jetted tub and plenty of hot water! It was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would be willing to stay again. It was a beautiful place to relax and get away from home for a bit.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful time at this house in the mountains. Easy arrival with lots of advanced communication about what to expect. The house and property are exactly as described. The home was perfect for our family of six + dog with a cozy living area on the top floor, quiet basement for the kids to chill with their own rooms and space and lots of porch space to spread out. Kitchen was clean and fully stocked and we were able to prepare multiple meals during the week. The gem though is the outdoor space with koi pond, fire pit, fenced in yard, and plenty of space to run and play. This all backs up to a nice neighborhood river trail perfect for early morning or late evening walks. And the location is ideal with quick access to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain and Valle Crucis. We rent annually in the NC mountains and this was the best location we’ve stayed for getting around the area. Great communication leading up to and following our stay. Highly recommended!

Great trip, great accommodations!

Wonderful house in a wonderful gated community. Centrally located between Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. House was very clean and the private back yard and ponds were an added bonus. Loved the closet space available in the bedrooms and the master bathroom was a dream with the oversized shower and jetted tub. The kitchen was also well stocked. Would definitely recommend.

Great getaway

Beautiful house and yard

House and yard are wonderful - 5/5. Property is in a gated community - close to Boone and blowing rock. Back yard landscaping is gorgeous and is perfect for dogs and families. Loved sitting by the pond Only minor detractors are not about the property itself - just the management. Checkin time is on the late side and check out is quite early. Also they only supply a “starter” supply of pretty cheap toilet paper, paper towels, etc. When I am going away for a short trip - the last thing I want to worry about is bringing toilet paper paper with me!
