“This is my 5th time staying in the area in a rented home and this is definitely a favorite. The view is gorgeous, the furnishings were better than most rentals and we were very happy with our time. Also - often the drive to mountain homes can be treacherous and scary for a Florida gal - but the drive was easy. My son was graduating from App State so we had several trips to Boone and it was a quick and easy trip. I highly recommend this property.”

“I had The Nut Cabin all to myself-very comfortable with all the needed essentials. The hike up to the cabin from the parking lot was a challenge but the owners have a well maintained and fully lite gravel pathway that gave my legs a workout every day💗 I highly recommend this fabulous cabin -it was a wonderful weekend! I look forward to staying there again!”

“Spaciousness and view the best things. Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress.”

“The room was clean and easily accessible from the parking lot. The hotel had a clean, beautiful indoor pool. Our room overlooked a lake and the property is breathtaking. Highly recommend! ”

They were able to accommodate my wife’s food issues even though I forgot to mention it until four days before our arrival. And the food was phenomenal. We look forward to going back. ”

“This is an amazing little one bedroom cabin!! It was a great place for me and 2 other adults to stay! This cabin is advertised that breakfast is included, that is incorrect. It is also advertised as " 2 queens". What it has is a queen bed, a pull out sofa bed and a queen air mattress. Either way, the sleeping arrangements worked well for us! This little cabin is directly behind the owners house. We actually did not see the owner the entire time we were there, but they were very prompt to……
