From the refrigerator being stocked with beverages and snacks from local small businesses, offered at reasonable in room prices, to the quality of the mattress, linens and towels, along the exceptional lighting, shower head…. not a detail was missed! Clean, classy and sophisticated.
We loved the patio that overlooked the river and downtown Washington.

“The room was ok but we had expected better from the reviews and the price. The sides of the bed were weak so if you sat or laid close to the edge, you almost slid off of it. For the cable service available on the TV, it was difficult to navigate to and the picture size was smaller than the TV screen so the view of the show was cut off. There was no way to adjust. The bathroom was nice and good sized but it had only one towel rack. And no other hooks, etc. for towels, toiletry bags, etc.

“If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay.”
