Charming home in the middle of Boothbay Harbor.

Charming and well appointed for all our comforts. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle for peace and quiet, yet within walking distance of everything. We will return.

Boothbay Family Vacation

The home was lovely and perfect for our family (ages mid 50’s/ mid 20’s/ early 30’s and a 3 year old.) The location can’t be beat, and the view…WOW!! The extra touches and care taken to make the house a home don’t go unnoticed, from the pottery barn quilts to the upholstered headboards. We had a fabulous time and hope to return next fall!

Wonderful house, grounds, view and location!

The house was a beautifully restored colonial, lots of interesting features and thoughtful upgrades (like multiple outlets in all the rooms). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need, including spices! The beds were comfortable, the linens and blankets top grade. The house sits on a hill overlooking the bay, there are several inviting seating arrangements around the property, including an outdoor firepit. Great view of the bay from the wrap around deck and only a 7 minute walk to the town. One of the best we've stayed in. Will be back!

Great house!

The home is in an amazing location with a clear view of the harbor. For the home's age, it's surprisingly large with plenty of room to spread out. The historical details are incredibly charming and the house has been well preserved and well taken care of. Each bedroom has pretty large bathrooms and the house was stocked with plenty of linens, towels, blankets, etc. The kitchen was also well stocked with everything you'd need to cook a meal. Keep in mind that the 4th bedroom above the garage with the twin beds gets pretty hot during the day. However, it does cool down at night. Regardless, the house is pretty perfect and I would highly recommend a visit!

Boothbay Harbor Gem

This lovely yellow home is perched above the harbor with a birds eye view. It is furnished with comfortable and interesting antiques that are relective of earlier times. There is excellent water pressure and generous bathrooms with plenty of good towels. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of eauipment and its spice drawer reflects an accomplished cook.The location is easy access to plennty of restaurants a, coffee shops and shopping. The outside space has adirondack chairs and a large deck with comfortable patio furniture.there is a large dining room table, a perfect puzzle table and a living room and den laid out for separate friends to have their own area for reading or gathering. I think you would be very happy to call it your home away from home for a seaside stay.

Lovely stay in Boothbay Harbor

Home is perfectly located on Commercial Street, the Main Street in Boothbay Harbor, w lovely views of the Harbor from the spacious deck and lawn.. Ample space indoors and out, well furnished, kitchen well equipped. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is great. Two things to know — the washer and dryer are in the basement, and the bathroom mirrors over the sink are actually on the inside of the medicine cabinet door. Who knew! The house is not air conditioned — not a problem if the nights are cool, but I imagine it would be less comfortable during a hot spell. All rooms do have fans.

Great house and location

Beautiful historical home and wonderful location to downtown. The location was walking distance to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this home! Our family had a great time exploring Boothbay and surrounding areas.

Problems this year

We stayed at this house last year with no problems, this year different story. Couldn't get in the house, the lock code wouldn't work. Made a few phone calls, after 20 mins. we finally got in. The cook top didn't work, it wouldn't light. The gas tank was off and I turned it on and it still wouldn't light. The second floor toilet in the smaller bedroom leaked twice on the bed on the first floor. The plastic nut on the bottom of the ballcock was loose, I tightened twice to stop the leaking. Last year there was a caretaker to call for any problems, this year no. We will not be going back ever again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second year in this sweet yellow house and we enjoyed it even more the second time around. Perfect location,very comfortable,lovely linens,comfortable beds and very where is walkable from this location. One of our favorite places ever.
