Great location

The location was great. We understand it was an older home and things don't work quite right but there are some things the property owner should know for the next rental of this property. The overhead light in the kitchen does not work, the water fountain shut off after the first day, the boat house hot water stopped after the 3rd day, the sliding screens on the sliding doors simply are not operational and should be replaced. I would also suggest that information is provided concerning trash pick up. We did call about this and were told it might be Thursday (they were not sure) but there was no pick up of trash. We did enjoy our stay though. Thanks

Great location

This house fit out needs for extended family staying together. Lots of space so we did not feel like we were on top of each other. Love the dock, using boats/kayaks, and the easy location to all of Boothbay Harbor’s main attractions.

Great place on the water and near town

We rented the main house along with the two cottages and it’s a great setup for a big family—walking distance to lots of restaurants and right on the water. We brought a boat and the dock is in a calm spot and always has water at low tide. The house can get warm during the day if it’s a nice day out, but it cools off fine with fans at night. We also appreciated the kayaks.

Beautiful home for big families!

This was a wonderful home for big families. To celebrate my 80th birthday, my 4 grown children, their spouse and children joined me for a total of 11 plus a baby. Each family had their own space, using the boat house, oar house, ground level apartment and 3rd floor suite. The grandkids and I shared the 3 bedrooms on the second floor. There was plenty of space in the family room, dining room and living room for family time. We also enjoyed the dock overlooking the harbor.

Girls Trip to Maine

Wonderful, well-appointed home across the footbridge with easy access to shops & restaurants. The home was perfect with a common place to gather, yet still having private sleeping quarters. Excellent stay in beautiful surroundings.

Fabulous Location

Stayed for a week. You can’t beat the location! Fabulous spot with a dock and deck right on the Harbor. 5 min walk into town. The property is a great set up if you’ve got a large party. We were 10 and it was perfect. There are a few things that need some work… Only one bathroom had a bathmat and the 2nd floor shower in the main house is difficult to navigate without drenching the floor with its multitude of curtains and no shelf or hanging caddy to put soap and shampoo. The bedrooms, including oar house and boathouse, either didn’t have a dresser or the dresser was full of stuff, so there was no place to put your clothes. The screen door on the side of the boathouse was a mess. It was all bent up and does not slide in the track. The screen door into the main house will lock you out if you close it fully as the latch was broken. All of these things could be easily remedied with a bit of attention to detail. Overall, the property is great and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Fun Family Time in Boothbay Harbor

Stayed here on a family trip and it was lovely. Great town, great location, very spacious, nice amenities. Only a minor issue when checking in and Wifi only in the main house. Which I didn't mind, it was nice to disconnect. Overall great stay. We really enjoyed our trip.

This is what dreams are made of

We had a family of 14 staying at the above site. All aspects of this location were amazing. There was enough room for us to have a great family time as well as the ability to get away if we needed to. The property was fantastic as it was right on the water and had kayaks and boats we could use. We were just minutes away from the walking bridge, which brought us into downtown Boothbay Harbor. The location was perfect as we were close to great restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and any excursion, we wanted to take part in. While , we had a couple of small issues, the property manager immediately responded and took care of everything. Best customer service ever!

Booth Bay Gem

It was a beautiful setting on the bay! The property is a few minute walk across the foot bridge from the restaurants and pubs . and the shops. The grocery store in town was quite reasonable if you choose to cook your own meals. Plenty of cool day trips within 2 hours as well. Our group of 12 had a blast! Lobster 🦞 and adult beverages on the grill while sitting on the deck at sunset on the bay…EPIC!

Great Views

Amazing views. Great location. Plenty of space with 3 separate buildings. Boat house is quiet. Main house a bit noisy with main road and hotel/restaurant next door, especially when keeping windows and doors open for breezes to cool down house on warm summer days.

Boothbay Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the house for a family reunion of 9 adults and 3 children. The space was perfect for our needs and we made use of the Boat House and Oar House on the property. The location to the foot bridge was ideal for us to quickly get into the town area for restaurants and shopping. The view from the back of the house was very impressive and we made use of the kayaks. The only very minor thing we experienced was a lock that was a bit sticky in one room that a child was sleeping in and he locked himself into the room. We were able to get in and after looking at the lock discovered it wasn't fully in the unlocked state. Wasn't a major problem and we were able to easily fix it. We would use the house again if we ever return to the area.

Family get together.

Location is great...privacy..but easy walking to town, restaurants. Charming furnished...nice to have separate cottages. Parking good...a bonus....wish they took pets.

Great wedding party

Great place for family to gather for a wedding party. Boat house on dock is prime cocktail lounge. Main house has 5 large bedrooms, and big kitchen for family to gather and cook lobster. Major lobster wholesale/retail facility is on the docks, 150 yards down to road. Perfect introduction to New England for out of towers. Locals couldn't be nicer.

Great location and accomodations!

The property met all of our needs of a large group. Plenty of space to spend time together, while having privacy too! Sunset cocktails at the deck/dock were unbeatable!!

Some bad, some good

Upon arrival the property had not been cleaned. It was taken care of by 8pm, after some phone calls. The fountain and landscaping were a mess and the property was not stocked with bath tissue, paper towels etc. There is no coffee maker and the master suite is not accessible from the main house, you need to go outside to access it. The location and dock are breathtaking and town is so close! The property is spacious, making it easy to spread out and have a variety of sleeping areas. Lots of chairs on the dock and the kayaks were great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very good overall experience. Had an issue whereby a room became locked from the inside. It was easy to close the door to the bedroom on the 2nd floor and lock yourself out. Other rooms have same lock condition. I called Turnkey and they had a locksmith come out - problem solved immediately. Great job. Please include cleaning of the outside gas grill at turn around. Prior renter must have grilled some fatty burgers and the residue caught fire, as it would. I cleaned it myself before using. Dangerous...
