Lovely stay, comfortable and convenient

we enjoyed our stay, comfy rustic furnishings and a leisurely walk to bridge and touristy shops and eateries. Enjoyed our first Oysterfest...Shared parking lot with adjoining and very popular coffee shop. Overall friendly area with great views

Great Location

This is a cute place right in the village. Easy walk across the footbridge to the heart of town. Accommodations are comfortable. And, we highly recommend Mama D’s for breakfast!

Wonderful weekend getaway

Loved the location! Short walk to downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants along the way. Breakfast steps from the door! Snug Harbor met our need and more. We found it clean, cozy, and had enough space for our toddler.

Great location, needs a little modernization

Great place, quiet despite being close to two businesses. Could not ask for a better location for Boothbay Harbor exploration. Well appointed, cozy and clean. Bathroom and kitchen could use an upgrade. Nothing technically wrong, very clean, just old.

The location is absolutely perfect. Easy walk to the footbridge, shops, restaurants, and tour. Easy in with the lock process. Most importantly the honest of the crew that came to clean after we checked out. Found my wallet and I was notified right away. Thank you so much!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to find steps too steep, a railing creaky, a downstairs closet consisted of hooks in the cellar way, a sofa bed on the ground floor. To say nothing of the misrepresentation of the view to water. I have had 4 back surgeries and have a spinal cord stimulator implanted in my back to control bed. There was no way I could do those steps to the bathroom during the night. And there was no way I could sleep on a sleeper sofa. We left immediately. I expect to get a refund on the Property Damage Protection and the Professional Housekeeping fee since we were gone in half an hour of arrival time.

I liked the location of the house a lot!! I will say the neighbors I am not sure whether they live there or not but they had dogs that barked all day long late into the night. Was very annoyed. The upstairs to the house was very creepy and felt like a crawl space but if you aren’t freaked out by attics I recommend the property. Attached to a hair salon so a little noisy in the mornings.

A hidden gem

Loved the location, we ate in the very nearby restaurants and the cafe.very comfortable and enjoyed the many things the owners had added to make us feel comfortable. The unit was quite clean and was easy to see that owners wanted their guests to feel at home. We wished we could have extended our stay, but we are very sure we will be back next year, same time, same place.

Perfect location

Great location to walk to town for ice cream or dinner. Longer walk to Barret park or lobster pound. A/c was welcome during this hotter week. Small place. Needs new fry pan. FYI, There is no DW or toaster. But good washer& dryer w/ soap. Luv BBH. sail on the Bay Lady, ferry yo Monhegan island for the day and burnt island on a Thursday. Botanical gardens and railroad village if not hot!!

Love this place!

What a wonderful place to stay in Boothbay Harbor! The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance, yet it is very quiet and comfotable. Plenty of room for my wife and me and the antique nautical treasures throughout the apartment helped set the tone and mood for our stay. Will definitely return.
