Stay in Boothbay Harbor

We had a small and comfortable room that was decorated in 50’s style. Room was pet friendly and there was a nice space to walk her on the property. Would stay there again. It was reasonably priced for the area and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The room was clean and area quiet. However the room was very small and if you’re a large or tall person you probably don’t fit in the shower and if you sit on toilet your knees will hit the wall. Staff pleasant.

Location was great. Property could definitely use an update, even a paint job. Bathroom was so small my knees hit the wall when using bathroom. Shower was gross. Wouldn’t stay again.

50s motel

This motel was perfect for our stay. The room was small but charming. Coffee is available in the office which they keep open for guests and the trolly stops at the motel and will take you on a guided tour of the area or just save you some walking. The shower is very small and I recommend you bring your own soap but other than that this place is perfect for a romantic get away to Boothbay

The owners continue the decades-old tradition of offering a quaint, comfortable motel with a 1950's feel, at very reasonable prices. The staff is always very friendly, accommodating, helpful in many ways. The location is superb, set within a minute or two walk from the center of Boothbay Harbor. Mid-Town Motel has become a cherished place for visitors who have been returning for years.

Timeless

THANK YOU!! I enjoyed my stay. This time it was only one day, but next time it will be longer. The staff was very friendly and polite. The room was clean and fresh scent. It would be awesome if there were small refrigerators in the rooms. I LOVE the atmosphere and the timeless charm. Thank you for not making it modern and commercialized. I am looking forward to my next stay.

I was in room #2 The room was big, bed was comfortable, water was hot and good pressure. Great distance for walking to town. The windows were open when I arrived, nice breeze but the cigarette smell from the neighbor not so enjoyable. A fridge would have been nice in the room As would have coffee (waiting on office for others to make theirs was not enjoyable) WALLS are paper thin. You can hear everything. Towels ( face towel in particular) had brown stains on them

I would have liked to see a human in the office at some point during the day. When I rang the bell on the desk, there was no response. One of the cleaning staff was very helpful, and resolved 2 issues I found with the room. The bathroom was sub-par. Tiny. The shower is the size of one in a small RV. Best thing about the place was the location.

Room is cute and location is convenient. Room service was nonexistent, we asked for new towels, the girl smiles and nods to me. We go out for the day and come back, she emptied the trash, that was it. The shower pressure was horrendous!! The beds are comfortable.

Wonderful and cozy.

We loved the simplicity of the motel, the location, and the access to the office refridgerator and ice machine. Staff was wonderful. We'd definitely stay there again.

My Stay at Mid-Town

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Good bed and pillows. Great location to downtown Boothbay and harbor. Quiet at night, good for sleeping. Cons: Shower drained slowly. The water backed up to about 3/4" of an inch. Also, when I went to close the curtains, some sort of trim piece fell off.

Truely 50s motel. The room was in good condition, but no place for open luggage. Not enough leg room to sit on the toilet, had to sit at an angle. Ran out of hot water. Also, checked in after 5PM. Note on office to use PIN and open lock-box to get room key. Did not have PIN, called number on office door, mailbox full, sent 3 text messages with no response. Finally got lock-box from another room occupant. After further checking, found that I did get a text message from the motel earlier with the PIN code.
