“We were satisfied with this stay. The kids, 6-38, stayed in the larger house and we stayed in the smaller one. We thought the smaller house was closer to the large one, but it is a little bit down the road. The only comment I will make about the smaller house is that the parking area is up from the house and the path down is very rocky. If you have any mobility issues it would be difficult to traverse. It snowed while we were there and we had to use ice cleats to go up to the car. Overall though……

“We had a great stay at Nes! The house was spotless and we appreciated all the amenities, such as the hot tub and fireplace. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and stocked with plenty of towels and essentials like shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, good knives and other cooking utensils, and spices. “Our brief, 1-night stay at the cabin was great. Having firewood readily available to burn helped take the chill off. The cabin was clean, spacious and comfortable. Jokull was a great communicator. My only regret about our stay was we didn't get to use the sauna; we were beat from a long day. But, we were treated to a Northern Lights show in the wee hours of the night, after the clouds parted. Visible right from the deck. ”
