“These cabins are very remote! Its a long drive along a gravel road that has some significant pot holes. We had a 4x4 so managed fine but did take it easy. “We had a great stay even though the floor hadn't been swept at all. I found a broom and swept it. When getting ready to leave (after two nights) looked under the bed and hadn't been swept there either. But, on the positive side - nice place to stay - the Northern Lights were great, amenities (fridge, washer and dryer and location) were great. The beds in Iceland aren't the normal US twin, a little skinnier, but we got used to that. Know that they in Iceland they just give you a duvet, no top……

“The house was amazing, the check-in experience was awful. The house is loosely connected to the hotel which manages the check in, but the house is actually family run. The front desk agent was friendly, but had us sit for almost an hour without an update. “We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow.
