“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found……

“We‘ve spent two wonderful weeks with our two year old daughter and our dog. The house is beautifully located in the hills with no direct neighbours. The view is fantastic and we felt immediately at home in this beautiful house. We had a wonderful time and our hosts were just lovely. (We cannot say anything about the pool - except that it is huge - because we were there out of season in March when the pool was closed.)”

“This is an absolutely private place in the Tuscany’s hills. You can relax all day, but if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, Arezzo is the nearest big city (Siena 1.5 hours by car). There are several restaurants to choose nerby. A major shopping centre is 20-30 minutes away. The house is typical Tuscan style and well equipped, energy consumption needs attention but we had no problem. “There was 7 of us that stayed here at the end of June into July for 10 nights. This is better than the pictures show, the location was fantastic (you will ideally need a car to see Tuscany if not Arezzo train station has good links and is about 15 minute taxi journey away). The pool was a god send and better than we expected and is a really good size. The table tennis in the late afternoon shade provided good entertainment and house was fully equipped. “This home goes so far beyond a charming and luxury guest house. Everything was perfect, from first booking through departure. Stefano is an artist at welcoming and caring for his guests, even feeding us fresh made biscotti and fresh sliced prosciutto and bread sticks beyond compare. So much thoughtful detail in every corner-from music to books to wonderful towels, magnificently scented soap, to coffee to fridge to stove. The rain shower is amazing, as is the garden. “The villa is located at the top of hill enjoying a stunning Tuscan countryside view. The house itself is antique however well restored, with an exquisite dining room and a professional kitchen. Breakfast is fabulous particularly the handmade orange jam making me feel myself the Paddington bear! We also tried the dinner set which tasted good and natural.
