This Pristine Studio apartment is the best kept secret in Borrego Springs. Sports a private walled in private yard plus views forever. This is a studio that is attached to the Main House, separated by a solid sound door and both Main House And Studio may be rented together or separately. Great stargazing. Moon deck. Full kitchen and bath. Super clean new construction style living. The property sits on the edge of the Anza Borrego desert, near Borrego Springs, CA. It has A/C, a queen bed and looks to the north over some beautiful mountains. Huge front yard, almost an acre of mature growth shade and palm trees featuring a patio with beautiful outside fireplace. It is 5 minutes away from the Galleta Meadows sculptures, and less than 1/2 hour from Coyote Canyon, Palm Canyon and Fonts Point. The Salton Sea is about 1/2 an hour away, and the highlights of Salvation Mountain and the Mud Volcanoes are another 45 minutes from there.

The studio is on lovely grounds. Despite being in a residential neighborhood, it looks out on open desert, which was very nice. The place was clean and in good condition, the wifi worked well, and the kitchen was more than adequate.We would definitely stay there again.

We spent three nights in this studio. It was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Dennis, the manager, met us upon arrival. There is an adjacent rental house but our unit was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. The Visitor Center at Anza Borrego Desert State Park is a 10 minute drive. We took the easy Narrows Earth Trail and ate our packed lunch at Tamarisk campground where the ranger had lots of good tips. We had good dinners at Red Ocotillo and at Carlee's in Borrego Springs. If you are looking to try out Julian Pie Co. pies, you can get them in Julian or at Santa Ysabel (no lines, plenty of parking).Santa Ysabel also has a Dudley's Bakery, worth a stop. We had a very nice time during this visit to the desert.

Enjoyed our stay

This was a great location for our Borrego Springs stay - close enough that we could walk to town and hike the hills of the park leaving from the apartment. We cooked in most days and very much enjoyed sitting in the private backyard space to dine or just enjoy the beautiful weather. And the hot tub was a great plus!Dennis was as nice a host as we could ask for, tho he had forgotten our arrival date so our start was a little unusual! Dennis was totally on top of things after that little snafu!One other small minus was, oddly enough, that the baseboards needed to be scrubbed - especially around the kitchen trash can. And there were no extra trash bags in the apartment so Dennis rounded up a different container for us to use in the kitchen. Although we had very considerate neighbors in the adjoining unit, there were mornings where we got up when they did due to their noise. I hate to sound unhappy with our stay because we enjoyed it very much. Thanks to you Dennis for your cheerful helpfulness!

Excellent stay!

We had such a great time at Eric's property! Everything was exactly as described, clean, and well appointed. The property manager, Dennis, lives on site and was available to help with anything and everything without being intrusive. The kitchen had all of the basics and then some to cook full meals, from a convection oven to a rice cooker. The views were spectacular, it was quiet, and convenient to everything in town. The pool was a fantastic bonus. We now have our go to place to stay in Borrego Springs and plan to return here year after year. What a fabulous place!!!

Desert Paradise

This was our 3rd trip to Borrego Springs. The previous 2 trips were booked with hotels. We’re so happy we found this place! It was so nice and cozy. Perfect for my me, my wife, and 5 year old. Location was perfect. Down the street from Galleta Meadows and Christmas Circle. Eric (owner) and Dennis (on site manager) were so accommodating and communicative. They responded right away with any questions we had and took care of all our needs. Got a lot of cool recommendations from them of things to do and foods to eat. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Bring butter/cooking oil and of course food, if you plan on cooking. We cooked most of our meals and ate out once a day. Owe would recommend this place to anyone and will for sure book again in the future. Thank you Eric and Dennis for making our stay so enjoyable!

We love this place!

Borrego Palms is a gem in the desert — and, not just because Dennis, the on-site manager is probably the nicest man you’ll meet in town. He makes you feel instantly welcome and at home. Plus, he’s a fine guitarist/performer and a great ambassador for this little community. We had the pleasure of meeting Eric, the owner on this, our second stay here, and he was equally kind and helpful. We resoundingly recommend this place!

Perfect place in desert

Studio with exceptionally well supplied kitchen. Lots of natural light to enjoy desert views. Very close to center of town and park entrance. On large property with adjoining properties equally large, so lots of property. Hottub was great as was Dennis's hospitality.

Fabulous!

We absolutely loved our stay at Borrego Palms and have already reserved it again for next year. The studio is everything a couple needs, the enclosed backyard gives you wonderful privacy for relaxing in the sun, and the hot tub was great for evening star gazing. Dennis, the site manager, is a great guy available for help if you needed it but not intrusive at all.

Great Long Weekend Getaway

This place was perfect for a couple! It had ample space to move around, cook, relax, etc. It’s a beautiful property and super quiet. The property manager greeted us on arrival and was very pleasant. He even warned us of a power outage one of the nights that Borrego is famous for. It was cloudy all weekend so no stargazing but we got to see several rainbows and listening to rain fall in the desert is priceless.

Serenity in the desert

Nice triplex type complex . Each unit has its own privacy. Great view to the western mountains. Sky is beautiful at night. I stayed in the studio. More like an apartment. Unit was clean and provided me with a place hang out while I also visited with family at another location.

Desert Solitude

Lovely desert landscaping on a couple of acres. The house is well set back from a very quiet road, with just the desert behind it. The landscaping gives the impression that you have the world to yourself. The studio itself is large, well arranged and well equipped. Dennis, the resident property manager, is very nice and helpful.

Perfect Getaway

This comfortable and private studio worked out perfectly for us as we visited with friends in the area. The location enabled us to enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert just a short distance from the town center. We particularly enjoyed watching the stars from the hot tub. Dennis was a great host. We'll be back!

Charming Desert Oasis/Paradise With Magnificent View of the Stars... And Much More!

The photos do not do the interior of this charming studio justice. Plus the description and the photos do not convey how helpful and pleasant the host Dennis is. We had trouble with our car and he was enormously kind and considerate and saved the day for us. We also met the owner Eric who is brilliant thoughtful generous and extremely knowledgeable about the area. They are both a real delight. We couldnt have asked to meet nicer people! The studio is quite spacious and well designed in the layout. The wi-fi was fine with no problems and we put it through its paces! But beyond the obvious there is a nearby structure on the property with a staircase which takes you to a higher vantage point for watching sunrise, sunset and the amazing display of stars at night. Plus the studio guests have full use of the pool for sunbathing and swimming. What a win! Just an incredible 3 day vacation that we so much wished could have been a week! We are hesitant even to write this positive review as we want this place to ourselves! But we know that right now we can only visit now and then... so come and get it and enjoy it! BTW re the water heater and the shower... you just got to wait awhile. Once the hot water comes on it is a good temperature. We both love hot showers and we were fine with it! PS Borrego Springs really does close at 9 pm. That means ALL of the stores. So get what you need BEFORE 9 pm at night! We learned that the hard way lol.

Good home base for exploring the desert and it's flowers

There was a lot of rain this year, so the desert flowers were wonderful. And what better way to do the desert than to stay several days in a little apartment for home base. Dennis and his sweet dog were very helpful with any glitches encountered, and we had a very nice stay.

Ideal setting, very convenient to town and hiking trails.

We rented this casita for our adult daughter. She was delighted when she saw it! The casita has large windows with beautiful views and very quiet surroundings. The Internet connection worked for her ( a little slow ), but it was okay, it gave her time to relax. Our daughter would love to come back next year. Dennis , the property manager, is a jewel, so pleasant, friendly and helpful!
