5. A Peaceful and Spacious Getaway in Sarajevo

Sarajevo

"This place was terribly dirty and is nothing like what the pictures potray, everything was old and tarnished hasn't been changed from 40 years ago. The place smeeled horrible and so did the sheets and nothing was cleaned prior to arrival, neither were the sheets that we had to lay in. The place had only one small a/c vent that was not turned on prior to arrival. The bathroom was super small and unkept. The communication with the host was just short and not helpful. This was just a 2 day...

Top Bosnia Hotel Reviews

Hotel Hollywood

8/10 Good

"Ok place. Breakfast was good. Not enough towels in the rooms. The whole downstairs area smells on cigarettes. Restaurant has a smoking and non smoking section but the smoking section door is always open defeating the purpose. Obviously less than ideal for us non smokers."

Hotel Austria & Bosna

8/10 Good

"Returning to the hotel after 30 years and in very different circumstances, it was a stay which enabled some closure, but also saddened a little, as I found the building gloomy and unwelcoming, the grounds and parkland around it untidy and uncared-for. It was a noteworthy and useful base from which to explore however and even though the breakfast spread was uninspiring, there are numerous restaurants nearby for dinner. A hotel with a history which the owners may one day more overtly embrace and a resort not far from the airport which with further, considerable investment could be made more attractive and viable to overseas visitors to Sarajevo and its interesting environs."

Hotel Grand

10/10 Excellent

"I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Everything was comfortable and convenient from check-in to check-out. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
