I was extremely shocked at my experience with the Fairfield Inn. I had pre-paid for two nights at the hotel through Expedia and arrived around 10 PM although check-in was 3 PM . When I got there, I was informed that they had sent me an email around 5 PM letting me know that my room was not available ( which I did not see until I arrived at the hotel ) and that they told me today had booked a room for me in Framingham which is at least 20 minutes away. When I got to the hotel, I had been driving for 8 1/2 hours and I really did not appreciate finding out at the last minute that I did not have a room. I was exhausted and ready to get into bed that minute.
That night , I ended up staying with my family
In the meantime, I was assured that they did have a room for me the following night, and that it would be complementary. When I arrived the following night, there was no record of my having a room. I had to speak to the person at the desk at great length who then had to go speak with her manager. It took a lot of time and effort .
When I finally got to the room , there was a strong odor that smelled like BO. I then had to call to request another room.
Having had ridiculous experiences two nights in a row, would be very hesitant to ever stay at this hotel again. I am still completely shocked at the lack of correct records and a cavalier attitude for service.
