As advertized

The place was in a perfect location. Short walk down the hill to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and shops. Plenty of off street parking. Plenty of room in the house and fully stocked with what is needed. Some of the decor is a bit dated but it does give the place a homey feel. Would happily stay here again.

Great house for for large family

We had eight of us total staying at this house and there was plenty of room for everybody to sleep comfortably and to lounge around the house. There is great outdoor space ample parking and the location was excellent to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. We had a great time and if we were coming back to the area, we definitely stay here again.

Great Beach house

Beautiful, updated house. The kitchen and deck patio were great for family gatherings. The bedrooms and barhrooms are also beautiful.

Overall very nice. Had a family meal here. Used the grill and has a nice dining room. Beds are comfortable and plenty of space for our 8 adults and 1 two year old.

Wonderful weekend getaway with friends!

We had a great time staying here! The host was so wonderful to us, especially since I was a first time renter with VRBO. They had TONS of room for my party of 6 and we didn’t have a single problem stretching out. It’s located at wonderful quiet street located near so much.

Perfect location.

The house is well stocked with essential items- is warm and inviting. The location is great- nice restaurants, grocery, pharmacy in walking distance. Only caution is that there are a lot of stairs with narrow treads - our older family members had a hard time navigating.

Great House for Group Travel

Very nice place to stay if you are travelling with a group! Off-street parking for 2 cars was a big plus! However, the basement room was not adequate for sleeping (at the time we stayed there). Overall though, we enjoyed our stay!

Great House for Big Group

The house is well set up for large groups of people. There were plenty of sleeping options. The neighborhood is really nice. It is walking distance to several good bars, coffee shops, restraunts and concert venues.

Graduation trip

Great location for our family celebrating daughter's graduation. Owner's son was very attentive to our questions regarding the disposal and television. Onsite parking is convenient and backyard table is a plus.

Very nice stay

A group of 8 of us went to the Boston area for a Red Sox/Yankees game and to celebrate my brother’s 40th birthday. This VRBO was very accommodating for the amount of people we had. The walk to Fenway as about an hour (we could had ubered for 15 minutes though). The drive from the airport was also 20 minutes. The owner was very responsive to everything. 5 star experience.

Brothers Bachelor Party

The house and neighborhood were both outstanding. It was such a great trip. Plenty of space, very cool colonial feel. Huge backyard to hangout in with a very cool church bell tower rite behind in the distance that chimes on the hour giving the house such a calming ambience. The chimes are not heard from inside, so don't worry about it waking you up. Plenty of parking as well. I highly recommend!

Historic home was perfect!

A group of us competing in the Boston marathon enjoyed this home to relax together, cook together and enjoy the Boston area. It was a quick bus ride (30 minutes) and then a short 15 min walk into the city centre. Or if you want to stay close to home, Brighton has lots to over for restaurants. We found it easy to go and explore Harvard that is a short 10-15 min drive. The character of the home was charming. Many of the rooms have double beds which are cozy for two adults. We slept 7 adults comfortably. Would recommend it to friends.
