I can’t believe this property is a hotel and not a historic landmark. If you like historical places this is the place to stay in Boston.

Beautiful and surprisingly large accommodations in Boston’s first skyscraper. Enjoyed our stay and would come back. They were working on elevator maintenance (bummer) and restoration outside which made the entrance hard to find.

Beautiful observation deck is the star of the show here. Easy distance from downtown sites including the Freedom Trail is a plus. Be aware you will be approached to attend a pitch to buy into the Marriott Vacation Club. If you are not a member, expect to get a room on a low floor, possibly with minimal windows with a view.
