Peaceful Lakeside Cabin

Claudia was wonderful and answered all our questions and was very helpful. We loved staying here. It’s a very quiet, peaceful cabin. Beds were comfortable, it was clean and they provided everything we needed and more. Rooms were air conditioned. Nice deck to sit on. Easy lake access. We enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming as the water was nice and not too cold. We will definitely be back in the future. Our only recommendation would to bring water shoes as the beach is very rocky with bigger rocks.

Serenity and beauty! We stayed in Chalet #1. Rustic but very comfortable. Unbeatable views. We came in early June and the weather was perfect. Loved having the magnetic screens on the doors so that we could keep them open all day and night. The large bed and bedding was very cozy and comfortable. Claudia and Klaus were great hosts and Claudia is excellent with communication. She sent pictures of the entrance and what to look for when we arrived, which made it easy to spot, whereas I could've seen us driving past it once or twice! She also responds to Vrbo messages quickly. If you want to get away from life and electronics for awhile, and enjoy decompressing in a beautiful spot of the world, this is the place to do it. The beach has an endless amount of interesting rocks but is surprisingly easy to walk around. I took a video from the front porch and played it with full sound and my coworkers said, "I don't hear anything." I said, "Exactly!"

Kootenay lake cabin

4 guys came for 3 days of fishing on Kootenay Lake. The cabin is at a great location for accessing the Boswell boat launch. It accomadated us very well with room for at least 2 more.

Paradise

We booked this holiday very last minute and did not have high expectations as this was the only option left. Wow, were we surprised. The cabin was perfect but nothing could beat the location right on the water. We enjoyed a campfire every evening with lake views and the bonus was that we could bring our English Bulldog. Our hostess made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much :)

Amazing waterfront vacation

Breathtaking, peaceful and tranquility!

Immaculate! We felt like we had our own private oasis, no neighbors besides eagles and other wildlife! We had a bonfire on the beach it was truly awesome! We collected beautiful, unique rocks, some look like petrified wood! Our dog loved the water and so did my hubby who took in a scuba dive and found an old brown beer bottle from the 1900’s! Truly a dream paradise!!! We will be back soon!!!!

Beautiful and peaceful and re-energizing!!

This beautiful place has got pretty much everything you need for a relaxing and fun filled vacation! The cabin came equipped perfectly with everything plus all the other things that you might have forgotten at home, and the owners are more than kind and accommodating 😊 Water shoes for the beach area are definitely recommended (flip flops are a bit too flip floppy!) Also, our dogs may have just had the best time of their lives!! Thank you so much to the fantastic owners of this wonderful place😊

So peaceful!!

Had a great time! A little rocky, water shoes and problem solved! Loved how close the cabin is to the water, bring a group large enough to rent both cabins, would be a fantastic time! Marina’s and boat launches close by, as well as multiple beautiful beaches to visit.

Lovely stay lake side

We had a lovely time at this very charming log cabin! We just wished we had more time! The lake is right in front of you and makes for lovely mornings on the big deck. We all felt very comfortable there and had a very pleasant stay! We would definitely return!

A great spot!

We stayed for 5 days with our kids. The cabin was so clean and well stocked with more than we needed. Claudia was so kind and helpful with whatever we needed and the location on the lake had stunning views. We rented kayaks in Nelson and brought them to the cabin which was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be back.

Relaxing getaway

Nice cabin on the beach

Nice, well-equipped, comfortable cabin on the lake - great views, relaxing, Claudia was very kind and helpful. We were surprised when we arrived that there was a small RV park right beside the cabin but it turned out not to matter as the guests there were pretty quiet. All-in-all a very nice stay. Thank you!

Quiet lakeside cabin

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and relaxing and the cabin had everything required and comes as advertised. The late evenings were especially quiet as only the occasional vehicle on the highway or boat on the lake could be heard. The lake was enjoyed all day long including using the canoe to explore up and down the lake. Very nice location.

Run down, no potable water, infested with bugs

This property was an absolute rip off. I found out after I had already paid there was no potable water, the cabin was run down and infested with bugs.
