Great place to stay

Fantastic place - very personal service but not over-attentive. Delicious breakfast. The setting is beautiful, the room was large and warm, the bed super-comfy!

We loved meeting Roc and staying here! This is a French country house and got us out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Roc was welcoming, gave us access to his family home and gardens, and an excellent restaurant recommendation in a nearby town. He even called to make a reservation for us.

Beautiful, rustic farmhouse hotel w/continental breakfast featuring jams, honey, yoghurt, crepes made by proprietor, local bread and cheeses. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable.

Beautiful house in stunning surroundings

Beautiful traditional French family home in stunning surroundings which we was delighted to stay at, on arrival the dog roxxy greeted us with a huge smile and we spent 10 minutes playing football with her, the owner Roch is a top man , very friendly and easy going. He made us a early breakfast as we had to be on the road early morning to catch our ferry , delicious tea , croissoint and homemade pear jam. From our two weeks of travelling around Spain and France i can honestly say this was the nicest place we stayed it felt like a home away from home. Excellent

Overnight stay in lovely setting

Our stay was brilliant. The host offered to cook us an evening meal when we asked about restaurants in the area. It was amazing food and well appreciated after a long journey from Cherbourg as was the wine. The grounds and lake are superb to go for a walk round. The family were incredibly nice and welcoming as was Roxy the dog. We also had a lovely continental breakfast to start us on our way to Clermont Ferrand. We were only sorry we did not get a chance to say goodbye to our host before we left as he had taken his daughter to school. If we are ever in the area we would not hesitate to book to stay here again

Roch l'homme orchestre !

Ce fut une étape sur le retour et bien m'en a pris ! Nous avons bénéficié de la table d hôtes et ce fut un régal ! Tout maison ce fut très goûteux ! De plus le gîte est situé dans un parc...et Roch (le patron) en plus d'etre l'homme orchestre de l établissement est sympathique, serviable, commercial..bref le "modèle" dans ce type de job ! Nous y reviendrons !

à environ 30'du circuit du Mans en voiture par grande route belle chambre (1) seul un voilage serait bienvenu (intimité) p'tit dèje correct à la Francaise , mon GPS ne reconnaissant pas la propriété , et en l'absence de panneaux indicateurs , je vous conseille de contacter les proprios avant et ! aux camions bon accueil

TOPISSIME

Un séjour de deux nuits dans ce havre de paix, au calme, en forêt, un hôte des plus accueillants, le petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits faits maison (confiture, miel) est aussi un vrai moment de partage entre tous, en anglais et en français. Merci encore et au plaisir de revenir

Super, immer wieder!

Der Besitzer hat uns sofort mit Regenschirm empfangen da es geregnet hat. Er war sehr freundlich. Sehr familiäre Umgebung, wir durften unser selbst mitgebrachtes essen im Aufenthaltsraum verzehren. Das Frühstück war lecker, es gab nur süßes. Dafür aber selbstgemachter Honig und geniale Croissants.
