#4 - Pleasant Suite - Waterfall Access-By Tallulah Gorge

Guests enjoy free Wifi, Direct TV & on site parking! Just 9 minutes to Tallulah Gorge, 3 minutes to Rabun Arena, 5 minutes to many restaurants/fuel/quaint shops, etc...; 29 miles to Helen, & 31 miles to Smithgall Woods! Many hiking trails & waterfalls nearby!
This newly renovated vacation rental features a queen bed, love seat, bathroom with a large walk-in tiled shower, new gas log fireplace, new faux wood floors, and kitchenette (small fridge, microwave and coffee maker).
Awesome 24hr. waterfall front view and viewing deck access (waterfall and stairs are lit up all night). Convenient access to the large recreation deck with propane gas fire pits, tables with umbrellas, chairs, rocking chairs, and even a cornhole game. From this deck, step onto a wooded trail winding down to the riverside and waterfall. Lay directly in the falls, relax in the water, or simply enjoy the sounds and scenery! There is also a mountainside staircase which leads to an observation deck which provides a beautiful full view of the large waterfall on the south side of the Inn. BTW: No need for bottled water, our drinking water is EXCELLENT!

*This Suite can adjoin to Suite #3 and Suite #5. They have inside doors that can open into each other or they can be locked off and rented separately or in any combination. Renting these 3 suites gives you 3 separate bedrooms with 3 separate bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Please message us to inquire about the availability of adjoining possibilities.

Overall great stay
This was a quick overnight stay for us while we visited Helen. The room is nothing fancy, but it was just as advertised. The only issue we had is that you don't have an individual thermostat. There is one main control for the whole building, with an electric fireplace for supplemental heat. I am always cold, and would have preferred to control the temp of the room. We did visit during bitter cold, and the room was chilly. Not a deal breaker, but something I would have liked to have known in advance - I could have brought a small space heater. Alternatively, having some for guests as requested could be a nice touch.

Definitely rebooking on our next visit!
From check-in to check-out, our experience was great! This place was just what we were looking for! During check-in we were greeted with a friendly staff and a friendly little squirrel named Chippy. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and we really enjoyed sitting by the creek just outside our front door. It’s located right off the highway, but once you get there it feels like your tucked away in the mountains. We will definitely stay here again!!
