"The room was very clean,...just the chair situation. It looked like maybe a prior traveler broke the chair leg. I wouldn' t have known except, I moved the chair away from the wall to hang a towel on it!? Leaving incidental charges but hopefully not on my stay?!! I made the check-in aware I found it like that. That 'incidentals' charge is getting steeper, I get it, but I am not destructive and try to be aware of these things before I settle in, just saying, be ware!"

"Staff was very nice and even gave my dog a new toy, the room was very nice and he plenty of room for the 3 of us. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast but was hot there’s plenty of choices just a short drive from the hotel. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others it’s in a perfect spot to all the restaurants and things you want to do in Rapid City!!"

"The food was excellent hot and tasty. Front desk staff was very helpful. I don't complain but The cleaning staff for rooms left things undone. Stayed 7 days and three of them had issues. No tub mat. No room service first night. Manager had to empty trash. The remaining days were better. Great location to make as a home base to travel around and see all the local sites."

"Hotel was build together with a Hampton hotel. Many of the amenities such as pool, exercise room etc are actually next door requiring a long walk. When I checked in, was given room 205…it was suggested that I could carry my luggage up the stairs OR use the elevator…in that order…I understand once I found the elevator about 75 yards basically in the Hampton. We used the stairs after that including bouncing our suitcases"
