Overall enjoyed our stay!

House was super clean, very modern and well kept. A LOT of space! We had 7 family members -4 adults and 3 kids and there was more than enough space for our 2 families. We really appreciated that the house was not filled up with tchotchkes- very minimal decor, lots of floor space for kids to spread out and play, and very little for them to get into and/or break. Furniture was comfortable. We loved the large deck with outdoor sectional couch and fireplace. Owner/property manager was very responsive each time we had a question/problem. Location was very close/convenient to Watkins glen, Corning and many great wineries/breweries. Property Description was slightly misleading- this property does have lake access, but is not ON the lake. Short walk down the street to the lake. (Our kids loved jumping off the boat launch and swimming in the lake. ) We were also disappointed to find out that the closet for master bedroom was locked/not accessible, which was left out of property description. (We prefer to hang clothes instead of using drawers, so this was frustrating for us.) The other bedrooms did have ample closet space. We also did have an issue with the water in the house- we first noticed the taste was off, and then when filling the tub for the kids, we also noticed it was quite discolored - (several times throughout the week we observed this). We did reach out to the owner/property manager, who contacted someone else in the neighborhood and said all was clear at her home. Ther

The house was great, very comfortable, and enough space that 8 of us slept comfortably. We enjoyed the lake access and the quiet neighborhood. Perfect location for a short trip to the Vineyards and the Raceway
