Repeat stay!
We stayed here in June and had bad weather so decided to return for fall color. Had fantastic weather and the lake was beautiful. Nichole and Jamie are very attentive hosts, and respond quickly to problems (e.g. ran out of propane for grill). They are very close by. The bed is very comfy, and there is plenty of room for clothes. There is a large table with extra leaves so I could do my jigsaw puzzle and still have rest of table for eating. It is ideal for two people. I wish they wouldn't use scented laundry detergent for the towels. Otherwise, we really enjoy it there and would happily return again. Loved seeing muskrat, heron, ducks and other wildlife. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets when it wasn't foggy in the morning.

Beautiful sunsets on waterfront property
My friend and I had a wonderful time at this lovely property. The cottage is very clean, well stocked and a great value. It is very bright and sunny indoors and you can't beat the waterfront access and beautiful sunsets. Amazing stars at night! It was great having such a well stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. The spa shower was very enjoyeable after a full day of hiking. I would definitely stay again!

Anniversary getaway
Such a clean, cozy and spacious place to stay! Great for a couple, 2 couples, a family of 4(but plenty of extra space if you have more) or a girls trip! Great outdoor area to have a fire or just hang out and take in the views. Easy access to the house and quick drive to keuka or Seneca lake. Can’t say enough how clean and cozy this place was, it was just wonderful!

Perfect relaxing getaway
Walking into the lake house took my breathe away. It had everything we could need to enjoy the last summer days. Having the kayaks were an added bonus when we decide to stay at the house for the day. I’d love to come back should I ever visit the area again.

A beautiful lake side home!
The house is very beautiful, very clean and well stocked. The view of the lake is amazing, we even got to enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake! The host was easily reachable, and was very helpful with all our queries! Thanks for a great stay! :)

So quiet and quaint
This place was perfect for our family of 4. We had such a relaxing time and the lake was so quiet and perfect for our boat. The place was very clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need! The only thing missing is a peeler. The master bedroom bed is very comfy, and I loved having my own “changing room” next door. The other room was very large and spacious, but the bed size was bit tricky for 2, teenage boys. The air mattress deflated each night, so you might need a new one. They figured it out and we had a great time. The main bathroom was spacious, very clean and had everything you need. The views are gorgeous and visiting Hammondsport and Penn Yan was fun. Nichole answers my questions immediately and was very helpful. We can’t thank you enough for letting us use your place and we will be back again!

Hi Michelle, Apologies that you couldn’t find those two items. Both were in the drawer to the left of the sink. The can opener is a white pampered chef and the peeler is black. It looks like they slid to the back of the drawer. We do pride ourselves on providing everything that any guest could need. An Ahhhhmazing Relaxing Vacation
This property was everything we could have wanted and more. We were originally supposed to stay one week, then it turned into two. The cleanliness, the amenities, the beds, they were all top-notch. We truly relaxed for two weeks. The outdoor area had shade, the water was clean, and docking our jet skis (usually a hassle) has never been easier. Jamie and Nicole your house is absolutely wonderful, we will be coming back for many relaxing vacations.

Great lake location for relaxing getaway
We enjoyed our week at the lake with fishing off the dock, kayaking, and just sitting in the yard listening to the birds chirp under the sun. The house was well-furnished, comfortable, and decorated with the right touches to make us feel right at home. Communication with Nichole was great--would highly recommend, and we'll be sure to return!

Nice home on the lake
The lake and view behind the home was wonderful. Great size home for a family of 4. The home is in between 2 other homes so it not in a seluded area if that is important to the renter. We really appreciated how quickly the owners responded to our questions prior and during the trip.

Peaceful and relaxing
Jamie and Nichol were fantastic to deal with. I had forgotten to bring the code for entry and she called me right back with it. We ran out of propane and Jamie was there in 5 minutes with a new tank. We were there early in the season so it was very peaceful and relaxing during the weeks. The fishing was great. There are a few steps within the cottage, so it would not be appropriate for someone needing a walker or a wheelchair. The inside of the cottage was extremely clean. The reason for the 4/5 for cleanliness was for the entryway which needed more cleaning. The cottage would sleep 6, but it would be a challenge as there would not be enough dishes or places to sit in the living room if it rained. The dining table enlarges and was fantastic, as I could do a jigsaw puzzle on one end while we ate on the other end. The jon boat that was in the listing was not available as it had started to leak and was removed before we arrived. The canoe was great! Not tippy. Other than rain 7/10 days we had a wonderful time!

Perfect place on Lamoka Lake

My experience overall was wonderful. From the time it was booked until the time we left. Any time I reached out to the host, my questions were answered in a friendly, timely manor. The house was so cozy and clean. The decor was amazing. If you forgot something, chances are they had it stocked somewhere in the house. The king mattress was so comfortable. If I travel to the area again, this would hands down be the first place I look to stay!

We Loved No Ordinary Days
My son and I did a 4-day Finger Lakes adventure and the cottage was so perfect for us. Loved having the lake right out the back door and kayaked everyday. We brought an extra kayak so we both had one. The sunsets were magical, had a fire in the firepit a couple of evenings, the kitchen was well outfitted, and it was so close to everything we wanted to do. We were so pleasantly surprised when we first walked in because the house was so nicely decorated and cozy. Loved it and would recommend it to my friends.

Great mini vaca on Lamoka Lake.
Our family had a wonderful time on the lake. We enjoyed using the paddle board, canoe, and fishing. We had campfires after watching beautiful sunsets. There are many waterfowl to see and enjoy (diving for fish and flying the fish to it's nest was seen in person). It's close to Watkins Glenn where we hiked the glenn seeing 17 waterfalls. We had nice family bonding time.

Nichole was very communicative and we had a nice vacation. There was a canoe, row boat, SUP, and kayak at the house that we didn't know about. Beautiful lake setting for boating and fishing, not swimming. Good location for day trips. I wouldn't recommend the house for kids under 2. The renovation isn't 100% complete (missing baseboards, gaps in the flooring, protruding screws in cabinets) and there are a lot of tchotchkes that little kids would have issues with.

Wonderful getaway!
House has everything you could ask for. Was so n ice to have a dishwasher besides myself. We took our boat and was able to tie it to the dock. Fishing the lake was great! Had a campfire most nights. Perfect Spot!
Wonderful time at this perfect spot! The house had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. We didn't swim due to lots of vegetation, but we had a blast with the kayak, canoe, and paddleboard. Sunsets were amazing.

Amazing
We had a fabulous time at this rental. Nicole thinks of everything! You do not need to bring a thing except your clothes. We had 6 adults 2 in each bedroom, 1 on couch and 1on air mattress, we were all extremely comfortable. There is toilet paper, paper towels, garbages bags, tinfoil, salt, pepper and cooking spray. All of the kitchen items you will ever need. We went to some local breweries, played lots of games and enjoyed the fire pit. We went swimming a few times and fishing off of the dock. There was a bit of seaweed in the end of June so be prepared. The neighbors were both owners and very kind and respected our privacy, The location was superb. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

A week of relaxation in No Ordinay DAY's
Not sure if this expression is PC but "The Devil is in the Details!" The hosts have more than covered the details for a relaxing get away. The lock coded to your 4 digit pin is only the beginning. A full kitchen such that if you bring enough groceries you never have to leave. Open floor plan so that everyone can be social no matter if they are in the kitchen or livingroom. House has A/C units which handle 90 degree days and has heat so that when you wake up and the inside temp is 53 you can take the chill out with the heater which worked great. There are plenty of TV's but being on the water and having the patio area we never turned one on.... For those that want to venture out on the water there is a row boat, kayak, paddleboard and canoe with a good length dock. The patio has a nice table with plenty of chairs, curtains for shade when sun is setting and a fan to circulate the air. Great spot for dinner prior to having a fire in the fire pit. The location is excellent as you are literally in between Watkins Glen and Hammondsport so if you want to head out for dinner you have a 15 minute drive to plenty of choices. Again the attention to detail is impressive.

An AMAZING Anniversary Gift!!
My parents celebrated their 50th Anniversary during the COVID year. So, for their anniversary this year my sister, brother and I decided to rent them a cottage for a small get away. Nicole was so welcoming and even did a little extra for mom and dad (a card and some decorations). I have never seen my parents so relaxed. The cottage is immaculate, everything is updated and there are more activities to do on a rainy day than could ever be done. We were all a little jealous that we didn't book a week for each family this summer. They thoroughly enjoyed their get away and are even talking of doing it again next year! Thank you for all you did for them.

Nice stay, good location. Cottage has lots of amenities bikes, kayak, paddle board, good kitchen equipment to make meals and cook out! A bit more seaweed to deal with but many lakes are dealing with this issue. Nice relaxing outside area to chill with some wine! Enjoyed our stay and recommend.

Perfect property for a weekend getaway. Lake was essentially in the backyard, which always lends itself to an amazing view, especially around sunrise and sunset! Linens, towels, paper goods all supplied and well stocked. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need! Nichole was very responsive with all questions. This cottage did not disappoint! We were two couples...more than enough space to lounge in the living room, bedrooms far apart enough for privacy. Kitchen was big enough to navigate comfortably. Wifi was great. House has smart TVs, kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were stocked as well. The best surprise came when we ventured to the backyard with a breathtaking view of Lamoka Lake. We fell in love with this gem and cannot wait to return.

We very much enjoyed ourselves at No Ordinary Day's! Being on the water was beautiful to wake up to and sip coffee on the patio. We also enjoyed some s'mores in the fire pit and the heated massage chairs after a long day of hiking and wineries. The closeness of the house to Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine Trail was very convenient, yet far enough away that we had quiet and privacy and a great view of the stars. The king sized bed was very comfy and the rate was reasonable. We would stay here again, thanks!

The cottage was everything that we hoped for clean, beautifully decorated and a wonderful sunset view. We had a great one week stay. The host was excellent and made our stay very comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful stay at the Day's Inn Cottage
My wife and I rented this lovely cottage for a trip up to the finger lakes. Nichole was a very attentive and responsive host. The house has a great waterfront location with access to Lamoka lake. The home is centrally located for those looking to explore the greater finger lakes area. We had many day adventures that proved easy to do given the homes location.

Great getaway location
First of all Nicole and Jamie are very prompt replying back to messages. We didn’t need anything to be replaced or repaired so we didn’t need to message very often just a couple questions about minor household things. The cottage is larger than it looks in the photos and is very “techie” with all of the smart televisions in the house in practically every room. The house is mainly flat with a couple steps from the kitchen to the living room. The yard is all flat from the road to the lake which is nice. Would definitely go back again no problem!
