Short last-minute stay

Stay was great, love the property, only ranked a 4 instead of 5 as there was a slight musty smell to the property, and some uneven / raised edges to tile that need a little attention.

Not As Depicted

This facility was once a beautiful cabin but through use and the years, it is in need of a facelift-remodeling.Cleanliness was an issue,it could have been cleaner in that the floor could stand a good mopping, our feet/socks were darkened by the soiled floor.But on the good side, it was close to the mall and places to dine. Reception was excellent, the lady that checked us in was very competent.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice place to stay. Handicap features very helpful. Need to replace cushion on armchair, very uncomfortable. Only 2 plug-ins by the bed and both living room and bedside lamps were plugged in those two outlets. Not very convenient. Bed very comfortable but too high. No place to sit while getting dressed.

Fun trip to Branson

Overall, great trip and great central location to outlets, activities, and more. Look around for alternate routes as the main drag through that area does not have much for stoplights. We had our first day booked out, but later in the afternoon on our second day we thought about going in the pool and walked down the hill. We hadn't been notified we needed a card to get into the pool and we were alresdy dressed for swimming. Ultimately, we opted to skip it as driving back to the clubhouse in a swimsuit was inconvenient and our stay was during a heatwave. **Make sure you ask when you check in to save time....he showed us where the pool was and everything on the map, but never mentioned needing a key card. :/ On a side note, something may have been wrong with our AC in the unit because there was a window unit running in parallel the whole time. The evening ahead of checkout we woke to a horrible smell around 2am so we shut the AC to the unit off and decided to hit the road at 4am. No signs of an emergency, figured due to the window unit present, they knew the cabin AC had issues. I didnt see any other cabins with a window unit. We never took advantage of anything else the property had to offer other than ticket reservations to the zip lines and Branson Belle captains club dinner cruise, maybe next time we'll go through the resort directly to book. Other traveler tip, take the main drag out of town about 20 minutes to the nearest regular WalMart, don't go to the one downtown!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in The Cabins at Grand Mountain!! The best thing about these cabins is the location! Easy to find and right in the middle of everything!! The unit was very clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The basic dishes were provided but that’s about it for the kitchen. The only negative was a portable A/C sitting in the den. It was vented out the window and stabilized with cardboard and duct tape! The central air was working fine so I’m not sure why it was there! So, I probably would not rent this unit again, but I would definitely use Thousand Hills! Summary……nice, clean unit…..no frills!

Clean, Cute Cabin

Property was clean and well maintained. Fromt desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice central location to the majority of Branson entertainments. Be aware - picture showing cabins is not truly accurate; there are quite a few cabins and twisty roads. Makes for a tranquil, private stay but, for most of the cabins, pool is not as easily reached as picture makes you think. Bed and dining room table were too high for true wheelchair accessibility but everything else was good. Shower has grippy floor which was nice. If we visit Branson again, we would probably stay here again.

Return Renters

We have stayed at Thousand Hills previously and have always had a great experience. We did have some issues this time unfortunately. Our air unit was not working properly and it was 100 plus degrees outside. We called and a repair person was sent immediately and brought a portable air unit which did help but was very loud. The return air vent cover was covered in thick dust and there were large cobwebs in the corner of the bathroom ceiling. Definitely not the best stay we have had. However, we love the location of Thousand Hills cabins and would return.

Lodges

Overall great experience with a fully equipped kitchen and everything else one would need including washing machine/dryer. Close to a pool and more homy than a hotel would have been. Would be enjoyable year round as there’s a fire place there. Close to route 76 and Tanger outlets. Easy check out through a text. If you’re looking for a lodge experience this is your place.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, it was perfect. Short distance from the strip and at the same time, surrounded by trees for a secluded feel. Will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing stay.

My husband I were celebrating our 12 yeah anniversary. Perfect place. Close to all the attractions and yet out of they way and was private. Only thing that could have been a little better was parking. Trying to maneuver through the parking lot with our truck was a bit difficult. Staff was awesome, helped with getting us tickets. Overall definitely coming back and will stay here again. Thank you so much!
