“250 Main is truly like "stepping into contemporary Europe" as the property is stunning and eclectic. The staff were very accommodating and informative during our stay. The parking situation is "amenable", but a result of our stay coinciding with the back-to-back Lobster Fest and Maine Boat Show weekends. We never resolved the in-room viewing options as "Live TV" was dead, and the connectivity which allowed for streaming was non-existent. It forced us to immerse ourselves into the ambience of the……
“The hotel clerk was excellent and very helpful. He was very attentive to our needs and a pleasure to talk to. Very good location close to downtown and marina's. We attended the Lobsterfeast which was right next to the hotel.”
“A very pleasant hotel with scenic views perfect for exploring Rockland and the Midcoast. Our King Balcony room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and balcony are small but functional. The breakfast room was large and had a variety hot and cold items. There’s an outdoor patio with tables and also sofas around a fire pit. The hotel is located at one end of Rockland’s Main Street strip so it’s a short walk to shops and restaurants and to the Farnsworth Art Museum.”
“The property is beautiful and so well taken care of. Attention to details with Victorian atmosphere and setting was amazing.
The morning breakfast was delicious and plated beautifully! Would love to return next summer.”
“Very easy check in. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, had great information about dining in area. Room was large and very clean. Front porch does need some repair.
Would stay again. ”
“The hotel was fantastic. Every staff member was so kind, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. The only downside is there is no room service or spa. Usually this nice of a hotel would have both of these. ”
“James and Gary were the consummate innkeepers. Attentive when appropriate and gave us plenty of space. We loved the inn. Quaint and comfy. Breakfasts are incredible. So delicious and inspired. ”
