This house was perfect for us. Great location! Private but close to Breck skiing. Had everything we needed. We loved it and hope to be back!

Amazing Home

The home was absolutely amazing, and is in a great location. We stayed there during the summer, and it provided very close (driving) access to the golf course, downtown Breckenridge, as well as the gondola parking lot. Cleanliness and amenities were all top notch, and the amenities such as the hot tub and game tables were a great addition. Overall, a perfect home to stay in with amazing views.

This lodge is absolutely gorgeous! The amenities are great, ambiance is pristine and an all around excellent stay. This lodge is close to main street, 2 miles from the grocery store and with picturesque views. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We had extended family with us and this home was just perfect. So many wonderful spaces inside and out. Convenient to Main Street Breckenridge but has the feel of being up in the mountains. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful!

Enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful home and scenery so close to town. Had everything we needed. Lots of space and we loved the downstairs with the poker table and shuffle board game. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing and shopping. Highly recommended!

Exceeded expectations!!

We had a great stay here! There was more than enough room for the 10 of us, and even an extra bedroom and bathroom than the listing stated. The place was very clean and cozy. We spent the mornings on the deck and had a great time. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful Family Friendly Property

We had a wonderful stay at the Big Timber Lodge and found that it easily accommodated our family of 11 ranging in age from 9 to retirement age. We used the kitchen extensively and found all the appliances and utensils necessary to feed our large family. The views from the main level balcony and lower level terrace were beautiful! And we enjoyed having the yard visited by a fox! Would recommend this property to any other family or group!

Great Lodge!

Excellent location and amenities! Less than two miles from the gondola and down town. Extremely clean home and well stocked kitchen. Cutely decorated for the cabin in the mountains with excellent views of the ski runs out back. Hot tub was a nice way to spend the afternoons after a few ski runs. Will definitely stay here again! Property manager very responsive to our need of a few extra hot tub towels.

Fantastic Breck Getaway

We were able to reserve this cabin on short notice for a family wedding. The home was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. Our party had 7 members and everyone had their own space. Thouroughly enjoyed the proximity to town, as well as the hot tub and decks with spectacular views. Plus, being a fly fisherman, my son and I enjoyed the proximity to the river. Will definitely put this one on the "must return" list.

Beautiful Family Friendly Property

The Big Timber Lodge in the Highlands neighborhood in Breckinridge, Colorado was a beautiful property which easily accommodated our family of 11, ranging in age from 9 to retirement age. There is a large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the main floor with the other 4 bedrooms on the lower level, which worked out great for our family. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils needed to cook for a large family, including a grill on the large main level balcony. We found many activities in Breckinridge to accommodate all ages. We had a great time on our mountain vacation at Big Timber Lodge.

STUNNING HOME!

First I want to say we have rented a lot of homes throughout the years and our entire family agreed this one was the best ever! House is huge, well equipped with anything you can need and beautifully decorated. Location is fantastic. There are so many amenities in this house you can easily just want to hang (which we did because it snowed 28" while we were there). Bravo to the rental company for their communication and thank you to the owners for the driveway snow plow service! I cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. We will be back for a rematch on the shuffleboard table!

Amazing Family Winter Wonderland

We do a Family Winter trip every year and all said this was our best trip yet! The house was amazing. From heated floors and luxury finishes to the perfect, easy location to downtown. We would 100% rent here again. Our girls loved the sleds in the garage and spent hours in the driveway riding the snow. The parents loved the dual living spaces for kids to play while adults sat by the fire. Nothing to do with the rental, but we weren’t quite prepared for the altitude. It was an adjustment. If you wanted to be over the top… oxygen machine or option of rental tied to reservation would be next level and something we would opt for on our next visit to Breckenridge!

Beautiful and comfortable home. but you will hear highway

Although this is an absolutely beautiful property, the convenient location does have a downside if you are renting in the summer. Road noise from the highway below prevented us from taking advantage of the two beautiful decks and you will hear traffic when the windows are open. The property is conveniently located just a short drive from the town of Breck and the lifts. The host is responsive and the house is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay with extended family and it was very comfortable. Note that the owner has locked off the MBR closet and there is no dresser. We lived out of our suitcases for five days. Provided toiletries were very nice, but you will need to bring your own if your stay is more than 2-3 days. There is room for one car in the garage and at least two more in the driveway. There are several hiking trails close to the house.
